During the Lantern Rite, the ingenious Yuan Rong invites one and all to try the Shadow Lantern that she has invented. Rotate the Shadow Lantern correctly to view the marvelous image and solve the lantern riddle, and you will obtain the corresponding rewards...
Wondrous Shadows is part of the Fleeting Colors in Flight Event in Version 2.4.
Summary 
- Complete The Bright-Windowed Lanterns Hide Their Shadows to unlock this event segment.
- During the event, you can take part in the "Wondrous Shadows" challenge at where Liyue's Yuan Rong is. You can adjust the parts of the Shadow Lantern to cause their combinations of lights and shadows to form a complete image and solve the corresponding lantern riddle.
- After solving the Shadow Lantern puzzles, you can obtain rewards such as Affluence Talismans, Primogems, Hero's Wit, and Mora.
- Affluence Talismans can be exchanged at the Event Shop: Afterglow Market Stage 1 for rewards.
Tutorial
You can adjust the parts of the Shadow Lantern in the Wondrous Shadows challenge to cause their combinations of lights and shadows to form a complete image and thus solve the corresponding lantern riddle.
When controlling the Shadow Lantern with a mouse, you may hold the right mouse button to drag the lantern component left and right. It can be rotated even with the position of the lantern's shadows locked.
When controlling the Shadow lantern with a touchscreen, use two fingers to rotate it on-screen. It can be rotated even with the position of the lantern's shadows locked.
Move the left stick to rotate when using a controller.
When the shadows' form approaches the final answer, your riddle-solving progress will increase to match. Once the riddle-solving progress reaches 100%, the lantern riddle will be successfully solved.
