Mail/A Chance Encounter... (2025-12-02)

This morning, when I stopped by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, I happened to run into Cloud Retainer at the entrance.

I thought she was going to give me some important instructions, but after pondering for a while, she instead invited me for dinner at her place, saying she'd make me some birthday noodles.

I arrived on time, only to find a noisy contraption that was constantly spewing noodles all over the room... the floor was about to be covered with noodles. While Cloud Retainer was doing her best to repair the contraption, Ms. Shenhe was trying to untangle the noodles with her spear... When Madame Ping arrived, with Yanfei, Yaoyao, and Xiangling right behind her, we all rushed in to help. After working together for quite a while, we finally managed to get the noodles off the floor and hang them on the spear.

All in all, the "hanging noodles" made with the contraption were surprisingly delicious. I've sent you some so you can try them too.
