Only two hours behind schedule today. Frankly, that's record efficiency by my standards. With the extra time, I can tidy up some notes from the site cleanup. For confidentiality reasons, I can't share much, but there's one detail that stuck with me. Someone had marked this line in a poetry book we found: "Only the bud met with admiration lifts its head to bloom. The unseen green lingers, curled in sleep within its seed." From a purely scientific standpoint, it's nonsense. No flower in nature refrains from blooming simply because no one is watching. Take the one I've sent along with this letter - it grew from a seed into full bloom, enduring challenge after challenge along the way. But never once did it rely on human eyes to thrive. | |
