Do you still remember that poem "Odes of Lang: Zibai" we discussed with the White Horse Adeptus that day? Since then, the legends of the bright moon above have lingered ever more deeply in my heart, and I wish to seize that wave of creative fervor to compose a new opera before it could fade... Though I had already composed a draft in my mind, after poring through countless historical records and ancient texts, a different thought occurred to me. Since the bright moon illuminates all under heaven, why not let all souls join in its creation? As the classic verse goes: "Parted by a thousand miles, we share the beauty of this graceful moonlight." No matter where we may wander, we need only look upward to know we share that very same moon. This opera... It should not be written by my hand alone. And so, I'm writing to you now in the hopes that you might add a stroke of brilliance to this work. Even a few brief lines will do — simply share the state of your heart as you gazed upon the moon, wherever and whenever that may have been. When the day comes for this opera to take the stage, sit among the audience and listen, and you will know in an instant which act holds your story within it. I hope to see you there when that day comes. | |
