Thanks to the help of all the grandpas, grandmas, big brothers, and big sisters out there, I've managed to grow another year older — quite the achievement, if I do say so myself. To express my gratitude, I've picked out the freshest vegetables... well, the freshest up to yesterday.

Why not today's? Simple — I gave myself the day off, and of course, the vegetables in the field deserve a day off too. On such a leisurely day, I hope all my friends can enjoy a peaceful state of mind.

You're probably off saving the world again — sounds exhausting, honestly. I just hope this letter and the vegetables both arrive safely, without getting squashed along the way. If, by any chance, you find yourself with a moment to spare today, I'd be honored if you dropped by.

Just try to come after sunset. That's when my brain tends to kick in and function properly.

If you do arrive early, the big pinecone in the yard (the one with the biggest leaves) can provide you with some shade. That's what it does all day anyway, even when it's on holiday.
