The garden has begun to don the hues of autumn, and a faint chill rides the breeze through the corridors... It seems my birthday has come around once again. Lately, I've found my thoughts drifting northward, wondering if the distant land of Nod-Krai will soon fall under wind and snow. With that worry in mind, I asked Thoma to teach me a few foreign weaving techniques. Though my skill is still modest, I've tried my best to weave this scarf... Afraid I might not finish in time, I kept it close at hand, working on it bit by bit whenever I could. One afternoon at the Komore Teahouse, Taroumaru sat quietly by my side as I wove, as if sensing the care I'd poured into each stitch. Somehow, his calm presence put me at ease.
