The Lost Child's Tale is a World Quest in Final Night Cemetery, Paha Isle, Nod-Krai.
This quest can only be started if Flins is in the party.
Start Location
Start the quest by talking to the Weeping Phantom near the lighthouse.
Steps
- Search for "Adina's" resting place
- Talk to the weeping phantom
- Witness "Adina's" homecoming
Dialogue
Listen to the ghosts' whispers and retrieve their names.
Available if Flins is in the party.
- (Talk to the Weeping Phantom)
- Weeping Phantom: I can't find... *sobs* I can't find...
Can't find what, exactly?- Weeping Phantom: I can't find my parents, but I gotta... I... I'm lost...
- Weeping Phantom: I... I don't know where they've gone, but I'm the only one left. It's so... dark here... I'm *sobs* scared...
Is there anything I can use to identify your parents?- Weeping Phantom: I can't find... *sobs* I can't find...
- Weeping Phantom: Dad, Mom, where are you... Don't leave Adina here alone... *sobs*
- Flins: I fear we won't get much else out of her. However, she did say that her name was Adina. I do believe I recall that name somewhat...
- (Talk to the Weeping Phantom again, optional)
- Weeping Phantom: I can't find... *sobs* I can't find...
- (Interact with the Khorin Family Grave with Flins as the active character)
- Khorin Family Grave: Here lies the Khorin family.
Inspect carefully- Khorin Family Grave: May little Adina's dreams be forever filled with flowers and candy.
- Khorin Family Grave: Praise the courage of Danuta and Hamalainen. May they and their daughter enter a dream free from sorrow.
- Flins: This is Adina's family grave. Her parents rest eternally beneath this soil.
- Flins: Perhaps we should bring her back here...
- (Talk to the Weeping Phantom)
- Weeping Phantom: I can't find... *sobs* I can't find...
- Flins: We've found Danuta and Hamalainen.
- Adina: Daddy! Mommy! They're waiting for me at home. I've gotta get back there!
- (The scene transitions to the ghosts of Adina and her parents, standing before the Khorin family grave)
- Adina: It's home! I've found the way back!
- Weeping Phantom: The lights are still on, and Mom's made piping-hot pie... Oh, it's wonderful!
- Weeping Phantom: Daddy's waiting for me too... Daddy, Mommy, I'm home!
- (Quest completes)
