Balor

Data

Barol was once the king of the deep-sea giants, and had a frightening evil eye.
But the defeat in the battle of the gods made her very depressed. Although she said frustrating words, she did things very reliably.

Plot

The deep sea giants were once the rulers of Irish, tall and powerful, and their king was named Balor.
Balor has a terrifying evil eye, and all creatures seen by this eye will die instantly.
With evil eyes and tyrannical strength, Balor is almost invincible in the world, leading his tribe to occupy a rich land.

Regardless of where, there is no eternal kingship.
In the battle of the gods, Balor once forced Tuatha Dé Danann into a desperate situation. Just before victory, Balor's magic eye was bombarded with five stars through the magic spear of the sun god Lugh.
The battle ended with the victory of Tuatha Dé Danann and the disappearance of the giants of the deep sea.
But Balor didn't die in that war. When she woke up, she found that she hadn't only lost her people, but even her homeland had been occupied by the Tuatha Dé Danann. Helpless, she became a wanderer, concealing her name, and wandering aimlessly around her body, losing her former kingship.

Balor hasn't regained the confidence and fighting spirit of the year since she was defeated. The one line she often said on her lips was "a person like me". "No matter what I do, I will only fail. No matter what I do, I can't do well". Such self-pity thoughts have been surrounding her. Although she used to be the Giant King, the shadow of failure has become an insurmountable haze.
Even if it is something that she can do, she will say "people like me must not do it well", and then finish it without expectation.
It is not so much negative energy as it is not willing to believe in herself.

If you want to change Balor, who is a wanderer, you need people with full patience, listen to her frustrated words tirelessly, continue to cheer for her, and treat her with sincerity to get her out of the shadow of failure... But this kind of frustrating talk has become a habit, and maybe it will never be changed in this life——
"I will work hard with failure as a prerequisite. Just wait."
In fact, what she thought in her heart was just the opposite. She would definitely try her best to help the person who pulled herself out of the shadows.
If you think about it this way, such a gloomy personality becomes cute.

The weapon in Balor's hand is not a sign, but a target. This started with the incident where the evil eye was penetrated by the sun god Lugh's magic spear. Since then, Balor has been very afraid of all kinds of projectiles, even small stones will make her nerves sensitive.
In order to give herself a sense of security, she painted the street sign into a target, hoping to let the enemy subconsciously hit the target and she could be safe and sound.
Although she doesn't know the difference between this behavior and an ostrich burying her head in the sand, this target still gave her a great sense of security.
