Palefox

Snow Fox, also known as Pale Fox, is the second boss encountered in the game.

Biography

The girl who used to taking care of Palefox at her shrine found dead when the Houkai Explosion happened, driving by anger Palefox took in the Source energy and gain a human body but being slowly devouring by it as well. When Kiana and Mei arrived, they tried to offer help to Palefox but it was too late and she got controlled by Source energy. After that, Kiana and Mei managed to force the Source energy out of Palefox body and help her turn back to a normal articfox. Palefox then told Mei that she will stay back here and guard the girl body who take care of her back then to the end of her life from zombies.

Battle

Attacks :

• Palefox can call a one-eyed little spirit, which will fly and follow you to attack. The spirit will expire and disappear after some time. It can also be shot down.
• Palefox can summon an expanding green spiral under the player's feet that deals damage while the player is in it. A sort of talisman will appear above her a few seconds before she uses this attack.
• Occasionally, Palefox will stop for a while to summon a horde of zombies consist of different types. The zombies summoned are Math Majors/Penguins/Shield girls/Sprinters.
• After losing a few hp bars, Palefox will split into a swamp of green fire-like spirits that can cause damage to the player character if they're touched. This attack can cause huge amounts of damage.

Tips :

• Palefox's split form can easily be dodged by moving in large circles.Even though her split form is by far the most dangerous of her attacks, it can also be her weakness. Each spirit counts as different parts of her body, causing AoE damage to register multiple times and damage her greatly.
• If your damage is not high enough to kill Palefox quickly, it is advised to bring a melee weapon. The zombies summoned will cause you to use lots of ammo and may result in failure due to lack of ammunition.
• Palefox is still affected by all forms of status effects (except for Polymorph), which means you can use movement altering status effects to your advantage.
