White Sakura is the eldest daughter of the ancient Izu demon slayer family practiced the demonization technique together with her sister Black Maple since childhood. In her family, she enshrined an umbrella demon named Chikage, who was deceived by the dry shadow when she was a child. In the end, she was fortunately rescued by a waver, and then wandered around the world with that woman.

Plot

Tatara is a well-known family of slayers in Izu. Although she was not as famous as the Abe family in the Heian period, she was admired by everyone and possessed her own unique set of slayer skills.

As the eldest daughter, White Sakura has a mission to inherit from the family, but in the Warring States period where the art of exorcising demons is gradually declining, it seems that everything needs the help of a noble person.

White Sakura had never considered getting married. She dedicated everything to the inheritance, but only on this matter, she was extremely persistent and refused the arrangement at home.

Someone once found White Sakura and her younger sister in a small mountain village in Shinano, but the name of Tatara was no longer there at that time, and no one would investigate the reason why they were there.

Retrospective

According to legend, the two offspring who mastered the core slayer techniques of this family defected on one day. This action caused chaos in the family and no more inheritance. Because when White Sakura was a child, Chikage forced her to took away the umbrella, but her body couldn't bear Chikage's curse and was about to die. Therefore, White Sakura made a deal with Chikage and took umbrella away.

However, Chikage didn't succeed, but was broken because it inspired an unknown force in Hokushin Mei, and Mei was almost in a state of being swallowed because of her strength. So, the two sisters used their last strength to seal the unknown power.
