Augment Core

Augment Cores are enhanced versions of battlesuits that appear throughout the Honkai Impact 3rd story. Like Awakening battlesuits, they offer unique new attacks and skills, but also retain some similarities to their origin battlesuits.

• To clarify, augment core costumes are not necessarily the battlesuit themselves, but often share the same name.
• Think of augments like an entirely different battlesuit in terms of functionality, and refer to the augment version by its augment name to avoid confusion

Upgrade Materials

Materials needed to unlock Augment Core are suit-specific cores and  Asterite.

Suit-specific Cores

Each valkyrie with possible Augment Core has her own core type.

•  Fulminata Core for upgrading Valkyrie Bladestrike's Augment Core Striker Fulminata.
•  Kometa Core for upgrading Yamabuki Armor's Augment Core Drive Kometa.
•  Epiphanion for upgrading Valkyrie Ranger's Augment Core Void Drifter.
•  Fog Chip for upgrading Valkyrie Accipiter's Augment Core Hawk of the Fog.
•  Twilight Cores for upgrading Violet Executer's Augment Core Twilight Paladin.
•  Danzai Core for upgrading Shadow Dash's Augment Core Danzai Spectramancer.
•  Fervent Core for upgrading Molotov Cherry's Augment Core Fervent Tempo Δ.

Ranking Augment Core

An Augment Core battle suit has a different set of skills the original suit. The new skills have their own levels dependent only on the ranks of the Augment Core and are not affected by replaced skills on the original suit.

An Augment Core has 6 ranks. The first rank unlocks the suit. However, most of the important skills are not available with the first rank. Subsequent ranks unlock additional skills. Below are the cores required for unlocking each rank.
