Boss Description

Relying on its connection to the Pool of Shadows, Duonigue has become unprecedentedly strong. Not only does it have a gigantic body, it is also covered in sturdy armor. When it's in a tough battle, it no longer considers how much it uses the power of the Pool of Shadows. This allows it to take on the fearsome and monstrous appearance of the mythical guard dog from hell.

• Banishing Evil: Beast of Sacrifice is covered in armor made up of Shadow energy. Destroy any part of its armor to deal a devastating blow to it.
• Shadow Swipes: Beast of Sacrifice lifts its left claw and performs a Sweep attack, followed by a powerful slam with its right claw. This attack is a Cleave and you need to use Evasion to dodge it...Sic In Phase 2, Beast of Sacrifice performs an additional turning Sweep attack. This attack is a Sweep and you need to use Jump to dodge it.
• Deepening Darkness: Beast of Sacrifice fires 4 tracking Shadow bullets from its back. In Phase 2, the bullets split into more projectiles that also track targets.
• Leaping Smash: Beast of Sacrifice leaps into the air and launches a powerful slam toward a target behind. This attack is a Cleave and you need to use Evasion to dodge it.
• Dividing Shadows: Beast of Sacrifice gathers energy in its mouth and unleashes a powerful Shadow ray that sweeps horizontally ahead. In Phase 2, Beast of Sacrifice's left and right heads will also fire identical rays of their own. This attack is a Sweep and you need to use Jump to dodge it.
• Shadow Onslaught: Beast of Sacrifice gathers energy in its mouth and unleashes a powerful Shadow ray that sweeps vertically ahead. In Phase 2, Beast of Sacrifice's left and right heads will also fire identical rays of their own. This attack is a Cleave and you need to use Evasion to dodge it.
• Catastrophic Shadows: Beast of Sacrifice gathers power in its mouth and fires a Shadow energy mass toward a target in front. In Phase 2, Beast of Sacrifice fires multiple Shadow energy masses from the mouths of its different heads.

• Cleansing Armor: In Phase 1, successfully deflecting any of Beast of Sacrifice's claw attacks can temporarily render its limb armor breakable. Breaking its limb armor will deal heavy damage to the Beast of Sacrifice.
• Guardian Armor: In Phase 2, approaching Beast of Sacrifice's chest armor weakspot in mid-air will temporarily render the armor breakable. Breaking the chest armor weakspot will deal heavy damage to the Beast of Sacrifice.
• Return to Ghastly Shadows: Beast of Sacrifice uses the momentum to jump to the wall and summons Agitated Cores at the same time. Agitated Cores release Shadow waves that spread. Dodging this successfully by jumping grants the power of Wicked. Use Wicked to absorb Wicked Energy and hit Beast of Sacrifice to knock it to the ground, dealing heavy damage to it while gaining an SP Pack.
• Preemptive Attack: Beast of Sacrifice emerges from the shadows and attacks the target location with a horizontal leaping claw strike. This attack is a Sweep and you need to use Jump to dodge it.
• Shadow Strike: Beast of Sacrifice lifts its left or right claw and performs a sweep attack. In Phase 2, Beast of Sacrifice releases an additional shadow wave.
• Smashing Shade: Beast of Sacrifice lifts both claws and smashes downwards heavily. This attack is a Cleave and you need to use Evasion to dodge it.
• Roaring Punishment: Beast of Sacrifice howls toward the sky, summoning several Shadow energy masses to smash to the ground.
• Shade Assault: Beast of Sacrifice braces itself and charges towards its target.
• Lacerating Claws: Beast of Sacrifice lingers on the wall and launches claw strikes toward the nearest target.
• Phantom Hunt: Beast of Sacrifice pounces from the wall toward a target and swipes with its claws.
• Piercing Shadow: Beast of Sacrifice lingers on the wall and unleashes a powerful vertical Shadow ray from its various heads. This attack is a Cleave and you need to use Evasion to dodge it.
• Shadow Swipes: Beast of Sacrifice lifts its left claw and performs a sweep attack, followed by a powerful slam with its right claw. In Phase 2, the powerful slam will generate 4 Shadow energy masses. This attack is a Cleave and you need to use Evasion to dodge it.
