- Normal State: Huodou stays in normal state and mainly attacks with its front claws.

A Rank
- Nothing but Trouble: Huodou has higher Ignite Resist but takes more Total DMG when frozen and bleeding.
- Phase 1: Huodou stays in normal state and mainly attacks with its front claws.
- Phase 2: Huodou enters burning state and mainly uses fire attacks. It unleashes Core Blast and resumes normal state after a duration.
- Burning State: Huodou gains set damage reduction and will continuously burn nearby enemies. Huodou's max Rime Trauma is temporarily raised. When Rime Trauma is at full, it will freeze for 8s and fall down; it takes more damage when fallen.
Tip: Use Valkyries with the Freeze tag to freeze Huodou quickly and go all out after it falls down. - Core Blast: The long-time burning has overloaded Huodou and it will cause a large scale explosion to resume normal state.
Tip: Build up Rime Trauma and freeze Huodou to prevent Core Blast. - Anomaly: Huodou takes more damage when frozen or bleeding.

- Burning State: Huodou gains higher damage reduction and will continuously burn nearby enemies.
- Preemptive Strike: At 60% Rime Trauma, Huodou will immediately prepare Core Blast.
- Ice Resist: It becomes increasingly harder to build up Huodou's Rime Trauma.
- Anomaly: Huodou takes more damage when frozen or bleeding.
- Burning State: When Huodou enters burning state again, it will lose damage reduction.
SSS Rank
- Flare Claw: Huodou gathers up flames in its arms and swipes twice, leaving DMG-causing fire on the ground.
- Volcanic Wave: Huodou gathers up fire and flings its body around, causing front-facing DMG.
- Lava Ball: Huodou gathers up energy in its mouth to shoot a fireball which explodes on hit, leaving DMG-causing fire on the ground.
- Flaming Chariot: Huodou builds up strength and charges at the target while swiping and leaving DMG-causing fire on the ground.
- Meteor Blitz: Huodou summons meteors from the sky while detonating areas where fire is left on the ground.
- Walls of Flames: In fury, Huodou draws flame energy to the front of his body, dealing massive AoE DMG and spreading flames forward.
- Devil's Spit: In fury, Huodou jumps back while shooting a fireball that causes an area of fire to spread forward upon impact.
- Fire Eater: During a phase change, avoid getting hit or touching fire; if you are hit by Huodou's Sprint ATK no more than 2 times, you will receive an ATK boost.
- Lava Body: Huodou gets extra DMG reduction during its second phase, which can be negated with Rime Trauma.
- Hellfire Eruption: In its second phase, Huodou quickly thaws if frozen, which infuriates it and gives it an Ice-vulnerable shield. Ice DMG can break the shield more easily, which disables Huodou, and inflicts Vulnerability.
Trivia
- Bleed advantage only applies at C~SS Rank.
