Kiana and her friends arrive at Oceania Branch, New Zealand to retrieve Gem of Desire, one of the three powerful Honkai Cubes. The research program conducted by Schicksal had failed and the gem was kept in Oceania Branch ever since.
Theresa briefs Himeko about the history of the gem. 14 years ago, the 2nd Herrscher dragged Siberia into an Imaginary Space before the Honkai-fissile missiles ordered by Overseer Otto Apocalypse to destroy the Herrscher exploded. Once in the Imaginary Space, Cecilia sacrificed herself to destroy the core of the 2nd Herrscher which eventually shattered into 4 gems, one of which is Gem of Desire. However, when Otto and his troop were recovering them, Anti-Entropy's advanced mechas and battleships arrived, led by the 1st Herrscher whom their aim was also the 2nd Herrscher. As Schicksal's troops were devastated during the battle, Otto let them recover along with the corpse as well as the core, deceiving them to think that the core was whole as they didn't know that it had already fractured into 4 pieces.
Theresa also briefs Kiana about the battleship during the first story mission, mentioning that the battleship is so powerful that the power of 4 Herrschers are required to power them. Kiana recalls the Void's voice mentioning about 4 keys.
During the mission, they find the gem which surprisingly, was contained within a girl on a wheelchair named Wendy. Himeko chips in to explain that the gem has been inserted into her calf 3 years ago by Schicksal, thus allowing her to use the Herrscher power. The gem itself is unstable but Wendy manages to control it for now, but lost function of her leg in the process. Kiana and her friends proceed to try to take Wendy to Hyperion.

Mission briefing takes priority, Kiana.
Bad news first. A powerful Honkai spike was detected in New Zealand 1 day ago.
The place is now crawling with zombies and Honkai beasts.
The Oceania Branch is out of action. The Gem of Desire went missing during the incident.
The good news. The Hyperion is furnished with a sensor capable of locating the Gem.
Find it and bring it back.

这里有一个坏消息，一天前，新西兰突然发生强烈的崩坏。
现在当地已经充满了死士和崩坏兽了。
大洋洲支部基本处于瘫痪状态，「渴望宝石」也在崩坏发生的时候遗失了。
值得庆幸的是，休伯利安的探测仪可以定位「渴望宝石」
你们赶快去把那块宝石回收回来吧。

悪いニュースがあるわ。昨日ニュージーランドで強烈な崩壊が発生した。
今そっちはゾンビと崩壊獣だらけよ。
オセアニア支部はほとんど壊滅状態で、「デザイアジェム」も崩壊の発生と同時に無くなったわ。
幸い、ハイペリオンの探索装置で「デザイアジェム」の位置は特定できるが…
できるだけ早くそのジェムを回収してきなさい！

CN 姬子，「渴望宝石」究竟是什么？
JP 姫子、「デザイアジェム」って一体何なの？
Schicksal got hold of 3 powerful Honkai Cubes 14 years ago, one of which was the Gem of Desire.
A covert research program was started 3 years ago to use this Gem and develop weapons capable of fighting a Herrscher.
The research program failed. The Gem was kept in the Oceania Branch ever since.
That's all I know.
CN 在14年前，天命获得了三块高强度的崩坏能结晶，其中一块就叫做「渴望宝石」。
在3年前，天命展开了一个机密的研究计划，希望通过这块结晶，开发出可以匹敌律者的武装。
不过很遗憾，研究失败了，之后「渴望宝石」就一直被保存在大洋洲支部。
我知道的就那么多了。
JP 14年前、天命は3つの強力な崩壊エネルギーの結晶を手に入れた。その内の1つが「デザイアジェム」よ。
3年前、天命は極秘の研究計画を実行し、その結晶を使って律者に匹敵する武装を開発しようとしていた。
残念ながら研究は失敗し、それ以来「デザイアジェム」はオセアニア支部で保管されていたわ。
私が知っているのは以上だ。

Wow! The most powerful reactor of Schicksal has a output of 1500 HW.
There's only one way to build a reactor with an output that exceeds 1500 HW.

Correct. In the Nagazora incident, the 3rd Herrscher delivered a hit amounting to 3200 HW against the Hyperion.
To fully activate that battleship, you would need the powers of 4 Herrschers.
CN 没错，在长空市观测到的，第三律者击破休伯利安的那一击，崩坏能强度是3200HW。
所以说，完全启动那艘战舰，需要律者的能量而且是四个律者！

I can't find related data from the archives... even those related to A-rank Valkyries.

30 minutes after the battle against the 2nd Herrscher started, Cecilia was the only left standing.
I planned to put on my battlesuit and fight along her side...
But grampa Otto stopped me...

JP 崩壊核分裂ミサイル…一発で戦車型崩壊獣を100体殲滅できるが、爆発した地区の汚染が深刻になる兵器ですよね！？
They didn't do anything to the 2nd Herrscher. She moved them to the Imaginary Space before they exploded.
But Cecilia grasped the chance. She sacrificed herself to destroy the core of the 2nd Herrscher.
Her core fractured into 4 gems.

My troops found the 2nd Herrscher's core fractured into 4 pieces when they went to recover her body...
That was when they appeared... with more advanced battleships and tactical mechas.
That was our first encounter with Anti-Entropy, and the 1st Herrscher who led them. The 2nd Herrscher was their aim as well.

然后，他们就出现了，带着比我们更先进的浮空战舰和战术机甲。

JP 14年前、あたくしの部隊が第二律者の亡骸を回収しに向かった時見つけたのが4つに砕けた律者のコアだった。
それから奴らが現れた…我々より進んだ空中戦艦を持ってね！
ネゲントロピーとその指導者である第一律者に出会ったのはその時が初めてだったの。そして、彼らの目的も第二律者だった。
But Schicksal kept the Gem of Desire. I thought Anti-Entropy would have taken it.

JP しかし、「デザイアジェム」は天命が所有しています。なぜネゲントロピーは奪い去らなかったのですか？
Otto managed to deceive them. Schicksal's Valkyrie forces were devastated. We had no chance against Anti-Entropy.
Luckily, Anti-Entropy had no idea that the 2nd Herrscher's core was broken into 4 pieces.
We fooled them. We gave them her corpse and 1 of the Gem fractures.
We told them that's all we got, and they bought it.
CN 都是奥托爷爷的计策，在当时，失去了基本所有战斗力的天命，没有战胜逆熵的可能。
但是，逆熵却不知道第二律者的崩坏核心已经裂成了四块。
所以在隐瞒了事实真相的情况下，我们只交出了第二律者的尸体，和其中一块宝石。
并谎称这是发现的全部。
JP それもこれもオットー爺様の計略で、その時戦闘力をほぼ失っていた天命がネゲントロピーに勝てる可能性はなかった。

Allow me to explain.
3 years ago, the Oceania Branch implanted the Gem of Desire into Wendy's calf.
The aim was to meld the Gem with her tibia to achieve Herrscher-grade powers.
CN 我来解释一下吧。
3年前，在大洋洲支部进行的实验中，将「渴望宝石」移植到了温蒂小姐的腿部。
把崩坏能结晶和她的小腿骨结合在了一起，期待获得和律者同等级的力量。
