At the Schicksal headquarters, numerous attempts to wake Kiana up by injecting Honkai energy fail. Overseer Otto is glad that Kiana (Also known as Subject K423) is around for him to carry out his plan. However, the increased Honkai energy had awakened the Herrscher of the Void from within, who then summons Honkai beasts, including the Honkai Dragon, Benares who wakes up from its slumber within the ruins of the 2nd Honkai Eruption. Overseer Otto orders all Valkyries to be on high alert as well as set up highest defense mechanisms to protect the headquarters.
Meanwhile, 300 km away from Schicksal, the Far East Branch transport ship, Helios, is flying by while Himeko and Theresa are inside planning a frontal assault against the headquarters. After defeating several security drones in the air, Otto contacts Theresa and casually asks her to leave. Theresa responds by firing a laser beam from Helios and destroys the defensive barrier.
