Chapter XX/20-2

The stranger introduces herself as Lin Zhaoyu, a disciple of Taixuan School—a martial arts school founded by Fu Hua to help the people of Shenzhou fight against the Honkai. Lin Zhaoyu's oath forbids her from teaching Kiana Edge of Taixuan's Blade Mantra, which would help Kiana control her power better, so instead, she proposes to break seals on any feathers the girls will bring to her.

In hopes of finding any clues, Bronya and Kiana enter a memory of the feather they found before and bear witness to Fu Hua's life from 50,000 years ago. Back then, Fu Hua was just a normal girl, albeit rather shy. She'd train in her father's kung fu dojo and while she didn't have any friends, her neighbors all cared deeply for her and her father.

The memory ends with Fu Hua preparing herself to leave her hometown in order to study in a more prosperous city. Not being quite satisfied with their findings, Kiana and Bronya continue their search for the feathers.
