Details

The main story will be released over 3 phases. The schedule is as follows:

1. Phase 1: After the v6.8 update;
2. Phase 2: 10:00, AUG 7;
3. Phase 3: 10:00, AUG 11;

※ To play the limited-time event Chasing Light, Drinking Shadow of Story Chapter XXXIX, you must first complete Story Chapter XXXVII and XXXVIII.

New Event Details

★ Limited-time Story Event Chasing Light, Drinking Shadow

1. The event consists of 3 phases. You can enter Salt Snow Holy City or Country of Iron Sand after entering the event for the first time. When World Progress reaches 50% and all personal missions of a phase are completed, you will enter another world for combat.
2. When progress reaches 100% in both worlds, you can enter Treacherous Borderland and take on elite enemies.
3. Once the progress in Treacherous Borderland reaches 100% and all personal challenges are completed, you will enter the End of Rebel's Descent phase and face the boss alongside other Captains.
4. On the World Progress screen, you can check out the progress of the current phase and play stages to get combat rewards  Moon Rocks. Collect enough  Moon Rocks in accordance with the phase contribution requirements, and use them to exchange for corresponding limited-time phase rewards after each phase ends. You can also use  Moon Rocks to exchange for rewards in event shop Salt Snow Stash.
5. The World Progress will add up as Captains across the server gain more  Moon Rocks. If you fail to get a certain number of  Moon Rocks in a specific phase after that phase ends across the server, then you will not get the corresponding limited-time phase rewards of that phase.

★ Support System: Inscribed Whispers

1. You can share one of your Inscribed Whispers to assist other Captains. You will be rewarded with  Moon Rocks if the Inscribed Whisper you share is used by other Captains.
2. Before a battle begins, you can only equip one of your own world's Inscribed Whispers and need to borrow another Inscribed Whisper from Captains of another world to equip.
3. In the phase Wandering God's Heir, you can only use Inscribed Whispers whose colors match the current area. After entering the phase Treacherous Borderland, you can choose freely between 2 types of Inscribed Whispers without color limits. You can use Inscribed Whisper: Chaos when going up against the final boss.

★ Special Mechanics

1. While taking on certain stage challenges, two fun modes will be available: Redrawing Runes and Rushing Inscriptions.
2. In Redrawing Runes, you need to control the character to touch inscription points to light them up within a limited time. You will return to the regular battle after the time ends. If all the points are lit, enemies will take more DMG for a duration.
3. In Rushing Inscriptions, you need to control the character to touch inscriptions, and inscriptions with different colors provide different buffs. After choosing an inscription, you can increase the DMG dealt by Inscribed Whisper based on the quality indicated by the inscription color.

Event Rewards

1. You can play the limited-time event to get  Moon Rocks, which can be used in event shop Salt Snow Stash to exchange for 4★ event stigma Misteln: Dressing (M),  Crystals,  Ancient Willpowers,  Time Swirl Passes and more.
2. While the event Hot Summer Gift! Book of Memories! lasts, you can complete specific story missions to get  Memento Wind Chimes, which can be used in event shop Elapsed Past to exchange for Honkai Impact 3rd  Art Collection Vol.2: The Moon's Origin and Finality,  Summer Reminiscence Weapon Option and more.
