The content below contains major unmarked spoilers. Don't say we didn't warn you, Captain~Project CHILDHOOD was the name of an undisclosed project conducted by Nivelle Industries. The goal of the project was to enable robots to think like human children.[1]
Gray Serpent speculates that the project was cancelled due to lack of progress. World Serpent salvaged a guide robot from Nivelle Industries after the project's cancellation,[1] which ended up being Herrscher of Corruption.[citation needed]
