Marching toward us is the refrigerator, air conditioner, and electric water heater squadron. Don't ask why they've sprouted arms and legs. The point is, they're protesting humanity's overuse. Right behind them, the computer, phone, and digital watch brigade, bouncing and hopping through their chaotic formation like birds on a sugar rush.
Leading this army of appliances is the druid, tinfoil cloak, pot-lid helmet, a tablet face glowing where his mask should be. He hums a tune, like the Pied Piper from ancient fables. In ages long past, Phantasmoon breathed life into all things. And today, the "residents" of this concrete jungle get a taste of that same spark, inviting you and me to join them in a dance.
