The Prisoner of Flames: Khaslana
| When the world's end descends, a hero raised a sword glinting in the setting sun and challenged the night that approached dusk. His heart pulsed with the brilliance of stars, and his eyes blazed like a fallen sun, casting silver needles upon the scarred earth. He shrouded his name in obscurity, burying the past in the homeland frozen in memory and vowing to defend the new dawn. Even if that dawn would consume all in its fire. |

1-2 In front of a statue, the people of the holy city |
Phainon of Aedes Elysiae He never spoke of his origins, "That's... not really his name, is it?" The man merely responds with a breezy smile, |
1-3 Phainon is a soldier, Responding to the Goldweaver's rally call, he traveled long and far to reach the holy city, |
"Losses are a constant on the Flame-Chase journey, Ballads reach him through the breeze, as though soft voices meant for him, "No matter. My existence is of little consequence." |
1-4 Aedes Elysiae... the man's hometown. Some have searched for that distant village, |
In every nostalgic reflection, Yet, within the ancient texts of the holy city, |
1-5 In the far-off future, |
With sword in hand, the man will inscribe, Yet his real name... "Losses are a constant on the Flame-Chase journey." Some, too, losing themselves, |
II. One-Way Journey From the Past
Unlocks upon completing step 4 of Trailblaze Mission Golden Thread, Relay the Savior's Fate in the chapter The Fall at Dawn's Rise.
2-1 "There are no swords here. Only farming tools." |
"Even a rake would do." |
Many days later, the wounded child stood upon the scorched earth, For that was his first "sword."
2-2 "Let go of my beard, you white-haired rascal!" That was the first victory claimed by the boy, |
"I understood something thanks to his beard." "The victor must stay focused, and success will come when you work on nothing else." |
2-3 "Knowledge is also a power used to smite." |
So he devoured thousands of books, But unenlightened wisdom is merely dust, |
Thus, his books are always worn into shreds.
2-4 When first arriving at the holy city, "Even the Deliverer from the sky," The Elders in the holy city scorned, |
But none expected, Some asked him: "Only one who treats the world as their teacher..." |
2-5 "Those with golden blood are bound to succeed." Such words echo in the man's mind, |
He misses the buried rake, "What forges a hero is not destiny from above..." |
Now he stands here and looks back, The long road to the sky stretches ahead. |
III. If We Could Still Laugh
Unlocks upon completing Trailblaze Mission Hero, Sing That Anthem of Creation in the chapter For the Sun is Set to Die.
3-1 "Final? Perhaps you're more suited to being a teacher's assistant." Final... |
It may bring wisdom to light and illuminate efforts, "That's quite ominous." |
3-2 Laughter resounds — |
Despite the weight of the past, "Perhaps I was just born easygoing." |
"Look at Mydei and Professor Anaxa. "But as long as I keep smiling, |
3-3 Though having said that, Each time he gazed long toward the coming dawn, |
His eyes were painted with the azure of the sky, "I was just imagining," |
3-4 Now, when the man comes with sword in hand, But his smile is pure, |
Youth is always ambitious, with lofty goals, "Apart from the ideal of deliverance, what do you have left?" |
He remained silent, "As long as I don't ask for too much..." |
3-5 In Amphoreus, |
As for the inspiration behind these statues, They made clay figures in their likeness... |
Thus — |
But that sorrow was, in the end... Nobody ever cared... |
IV. Bear the Weight of Dawn
Unlocks upon completing Trailblaze Mission Hero, Sing That Anthem of Creation in the chapter For the Sun is Set to Die.
4-1 The people likened him to the blazing sun, And for his part he embraced their expectations, Like that god who shouldered the world, |
Yet he is not proud of his resolve. Only out of fear, |
4-2 He once sought out emotions of sorrow, Responsibly and diligently, |
The people thanked him for his grace, |
Whence does his warmth come from? |
4-3 Unable to bear the turmoil in his heart, He was a formidable warrior, invincible in battle, |
Just as the ballad blown on the breeze says: Indeed, sacrifices were not hard for him, |
Like a tear that cannot be shed. |
4-4 "It is because you suffer," But he smiled wryly in response. |
This unknown man, "Could it be that unknowingly, |
Fearing only that the greater the burden, the more the mistakes. |
4-5 Finally, at the terminus of that road, |
The power is beyond control, savaging all around it, "I am willing to shoulder this world, that is no lie..." |
But before the tears could flow, His light blazed brighter than the sun, The Nameless Hero... Khaslana. |
He had never loved himself, |
V. That Burnt-Out Sun
Unlocks upon completing Trailblaze Mission Hero, Sing That Anthem of Creation in the chapter For the Sun is Set to Die.
5-1 A gust of wind will one day sweep past, Nearly every footprint, |
That humble youth, |
The first ray of light to pierce the long night, But the body that bore the weight of the world, |
5-2 Rage is a crafty emotion, His friend fought blood-soaked battles, |
But every victory in battle he gained, |
"You must be careful. |
His teacher kindly reminded him thus, "And behind that hatred, |
5-3 But what about his joy? No. Even though he knew not the meaning of "love," |
But now, |
Fueled with lone courage, |
5-4 But what of his sorrow? But at the moment the cycle manifested, |
But the stabbing pain in the man's heart, The truth no longer important, |
"There is no need to question your heart, no need to crave victory. "Then I shall roar at evil, |
5-5 In the endless cycles, In that dream, |
But were he to open his eyes, He saw the creators choke his throat, |
But their true forms, The prophecy departed, Amphoreus was unable to usher in the dawn. |
But a ball of all-devouring fire, |
