A comet called "the Intruder" is always zooming around all over the place, constantly overlapping with Mio's orbit and threatening to crash into it. One time, as it approached Mio's atmosphere, someone on the planet cracked a joke that made the comet chuckle, causing it to lose its orbital trajectory. Nowadays, whenever people on Mio spot "the Intruder" coming, they all start telling jokes to make it laugh and veer off course. Mio scientists are even trying to develop joke-powered propulsion to steer the comet in designated directions.
