A currency is a standardization of money in any form, in use or circulation as a medium of exchange, for example banknotes and coins. A more general definition is that a currency is a system of money in common use within a specific environment over time, especially for people on a world, planet or nation state.

List of Currencies

Currency	World	Description
Credit	Pier Point Cosmic	This currency, used by the Interastral Peace Corporation to settle accounts with its customers, is now widely accepted as the hard currency for space travel.
Hertareum	Herta Space Station	The cryptocurrency circulating internally in the Herta Space Station. Hertareum was planned as a digital currency, but eventually settled as a physical currency. It's worth mentioning that even though Hertareum coins don't contain any precious metal components, the high-definition silhouette Non-Fungible Token contained inside it is much more valuable than any of them.
Shield	Jarilo-VI	The official currency circulating in Belobog. After a long era of blockades, the Overworld and Underworld denizens of Belobog have developed vastly different standards for currency. The current exchange rate of shield to credits is now 1:50.
Ancient Coin	Jarilo-VI	An old coin from a time when metal was still a plentiful resource in Belobog. This currency is now defunct.
Strale	Xianzhou Alliance	The internal currency of the Xianzhou Alliance with strales as its basic monetary unit. The Xianzhou strales have long been digitized before Xianzhou's interactions with the IPC ever happened. However, there are some collectors who still kept the Celest-Gold coins minted when the Alliance first came into existence. It is shaped like the tip of an arrow or a narrow leaf.
Alfalfa Credit	Penacony	A currency circulating throughout Penacony from Gilded Hour, Penacony's Currency Center where the Pepeshi people of the Alfalfa Family keep the fortress-like financial city that is the economic heart of Penacony running, always in a hurry to deposit the Alfalfa credits that they earned into the bank's vault. They also come in the form of coins.^[1]^[2]
Clock Credits	Penacony	A mysterious banknote, whose origin is unknown even to The Family. It features the classic image of Clockie on the front. This currency is prohibited for regular transactions in the Dreamscape world by the Family, and only a few people know its true purpose. This is said to be a commemorative currency issued personally by the Watchmaker.^[2]
Tanba	Unknown	Tanbas are red copper coins that were used as a currency on an unknown world. The currency was used to buy slaves like Kakavasha and is recognized by the Interastral Peace Corporation.^[3]^[4]
