Profile

Grumpy is a Level 1 researcher at the Department of Implement Arts. She's a new researcher aboard the Herta Space Station with Wen Shiling as her tutor. Wen Shiling tasked her to test a battle simulation software called Stellar Flare and write a report about it in one week. She invites the Trailblazer to try Stellar Flare so that she can write a report about it.

Grumpy: Are you still in the space station, (Trailblazer)?

Grumpy: Thanks to the test data from you, I can finally submit my report to Miss Shiling... You might not realize this, but it's really important to me... I don't want to get kicked out of the Department of Implement Arts before my probation ends.

Grumpy: Oh yeah, that's right — there's more than one stage in Stellar Flare, and each stage has three difficulty levels. If you want, you can keep playing it.

Grumpy: I saved the installation package onto your mobile device — or you can just keep using this testing terminal next to me. Hope you have lots of fun playing...

I beat it on the Supergiant Star difficulty.

Grumpy: ...Really? I can't even clear it on the Dwarf Star difficulty... I guess the differences in skill between people is even bigger than the drop of the Grand Chasm on the planet of Talia...; Grumpy: Thank you, (Trailblazer). Now I've got even more data for my report.; Grumpy: Here are some small rewards... Please, take it.

Etymology

布凯辛 bùkǎixīn is a pun on 不开心 bùkāixīn, "unhappy; grumpy".
- In Chinese slang, 没头脑 méitóunǎo, "nor smart" (name origin of Metauna) and 不开心 are used together to describe a duo with said stereotypes.
