Dear Special Test Candidate: Greetings, welcome to the "Unknown Lifeform Smell-Induced Perceptions and Hallucinations Special Test".

EVENT DETAILS

Cloudbot: Greetings, esteemed special tester. I am the Cloudbot looking after this experiment.
The Department of Ecology has discovered that certain "small creatures" aboard the space station give off "delectable scents" that can influence human perception. The purpose of this test is to calculate the potential risks associated with said scents.

01 Illusory Enemies

Our researchers have gathered scents emitted by these critters, and have simulated each scent in the cloud.
Activating different scents will change the test subject's perceptions, activating the memory domains in the brain and causing various thrilling illusions to be experienced...

Cloudbot: Beep, beep. Illusions simulated through olfactory stimulation will be somewhat different from regular boss enemies. Testers can read the Illusion Trait at the beginning of the battle to understand the details.

After understanding the Illusion Trait, please select your character and scent plug-ins to enter the test.

Cloudbot: Beep, beep. This test also provides Trial Characters for testers to choose from.

02 Scent Plug-in

To obtain more test data, researchers from the Department of Ecology have prepared various scent plug-ins.
Equipping various scent plug-ins will activate different bonuses in combat.

Cloudbot: Beep, beep. Or maybe the "Cheese Flavor" and Abundant Ebon Deer combo will be more popular.

03 Remaining Action Value and Ratings

There will be a Remaining Action Value mechanic in this test, which changes based on the actions of both the player and the enemies.

At the end of battle, the score obtained by the tester in the current stage will be calculated based on the total DMG dealt to illusions and the remaining action value. A corresponding rating will be given, with SS being the highest rating.

04 Despair Mode

This test is separated into Normal Mode and Despair Mode. When testers clear all "Normal Mode" stages and reach certain requirements, they can activate "Despair Mode."

Please note that in Despair Mode, the enemy levels are set to a fixed level, providing higher difficulty and challenge. Testers can challenge this mode based on their own circumstances.

Cloudbot: Beep, beep. In Despair Mode, the Trial Character section will be removed.
