Story

The history of the planet Potyomkin is shrouded in darkness. The Potyomkinites are the only intelligent species inhabiting the planet now, but another mysterious species graced the pages of every Potyomkin history book ever written. These beings lived underground, manipulated politicians with brainwaves, and ate children who stayed out too late. Some say they were ancient remnants, others say they came from another dimension. No one has ever seen them, not really. But still, they showed up everywhere in history, stirring up conspiracies, and growing closer to reality with every retelling. That is, until an anonymous Troupe Master passed by and added detailed illustrations to the history books. Today, people no longer believe that their history is dominated by a bunch of long-legged, fish-headed monsters.
