"Please, don't be afraid. I personally incubated every single one of these Stings. Sure, they look different, have distinct genes, but each has undergone rigorous training. They won't hurt you."

If you ask me, these little guys are the most charming creatures in the universe. The Imperator Insectorum's calamity left behind too much prejudice, but mark my words, one day, everyone will come to love Stings."
"Supplicant? No, no, no. The mask means nothing to me. But care to guess whose hands I placed it in?" The man patted the shoulder of the humanoid giant insect beside him, earning a buzzing sound of delight in response.

(Chinese: 别露出嫌弃的表情，和尔虞我诈的人类社会相比，我这些蛰虫，个个都有情有义，情同兄弟。) is a parody of the quote 「我在想我的那些个蛐蛐儿，它们个个都有情有义。」 "I'm thinking about my crickets. They are loyal and devoted, every one of them." by Chen Gong when Cao Cao asked what he was thinking after Cao Cao killed Lü Boshe in Episode 3 of Three Kingdoms, a 2010 Chinese TV series which receives mixed ratings for its controversial adaptation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms and has become a meme in China since the 2020s.
- In Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Chen Gong joined Cao Cao's force after hearing his ambition of overthrowing the regime of Dong Zhuo. Later, Cao Cao became wanted after his failed assassination of Dong Zhuo. Cao Cao and Chen Gong hid in Lü Boshe's home, but Cao Cao killed Lü Boshe and his families due to misunderstanding and had no regrets, which disappointed Chen Gong and made him leave Cao Cao.
- In the Three Kingdoms TV series, Chen Gong had pet crickets which is an original part of the adaptation, and when he decided to join Cao Cao's force, he left all his crickets at home.
