Overview

Jericha was attacked by the black tide during the Month of Strife of Year 4928. Lipos was one of the few people who survived the attack, and traveled for over a month to reach Okhema after Jericha was destroyed.^[1] In Okhema, Lipos describes Jericho as having multiple ports with many ships,^[2] suggesting it may be a coastal city.

Etymology

• Jericha could correspond to the biblical city of Jericho, which fell after the Israelites marched around its walls once a day for six days during the conquest of Canaan. Biblical Jericho corresponds to the Tell es-Sultan site in modern-day Jericho, Palestine.
