Khaos

Khaos is a mentioned NPC on Amphoreus. He was the Worldbearing Titan, Kephale, in the penultimate cycle of Amphoreus.^[2]

Profile

Khaos belongs to a group of entities that named themselves "Khaos" or its variants, meaning "Chaos" in Amphorean. Lygus theorizes that this naming convention resulted from a specific code being stably inherited across iterations.^[3]

Little is known about Khaos. He was the demigod of Worldbearing in the antepenultimate cycle of Amphoreus, and was responsible for reforging the world from his memories after Era Nova. Guided by the memories of the previous world imprinted upon Khaos's soul, Anaxa developed a theory regarding the cyclical nature of Amphoreus and was able to locate Thanatos.^[2]

• Khaos, also spelled "Chaos," has deep roots in Ancient Greek language and mythology. It is the cosmological void state preceding the creation of the universe (the cosmos) in early Greek cosmology. It can also refer to an early state of the cosmos constituted of nothing but undifferentiated and indistinguishable matter.
• In Chinese, the characters that make up "Khaos" (Chinese: 卡厄斯 Kǎ'èsī) also make up the first half of "Khaslana" (Chinese: 卡厄斯兰那 Kǎ'èsīlánnà), which is Phainon's true name.
