Kobo Khan

Kobo is the nephew of the late Hosing Khan. Prior to Khan's marriage to Yewliho and birth of their child Cherluwoo, Kobo was set to be the next chief of the Bloodwind Pack. However, since Cherluwoo would be the more direct descendant of the chief, he lost that title. After having prepared all his life to inherit the pack, Kobo led the 3,000-strong beast ship fleet that had sworn loyalty to him to reclaim his power and attacked the chief's great beast ship. Hosing Khan had no time to react before he was murdered by his bodyguards that Kobo had bribed.

Knowing they would be next, Yewliho fled with Cherluwoo with her own loyal fleet and managed to break free of Kobo's encirclement, though they stayed in pursuit. However, Kobo called off his manhunt a short while later and returned to the Bloodwind Pack, successfully becoming the next chief and donning the title of Khan.

The death of Cherluwoo can also be attributed to Kobo's coup, though details are unknown.^[1]
