- Miss Komu: Lucky you. The organizers just revoked my entry. Your biggest competition is just out of the picture.
I'm not here for the race.
- Miss Komu: Huh? Then what are you here for?
- Look at you, quick on the draw.
- Miss Komu: Well, obviously, but...
- Miss Komu: Wait, then what were you doing lurking around the track... Oh wow, I get it now!
- Miss Komu: You're a sponsor! The kind who scouts out top-tier racers!
- Miss Komu: Jackpot! The name's Komu. Might not ring a bell yet, but that's okay. On this track, I'll leave everyone in the dust faster than you can blink.
- Miss Komu: I'm just one step away from being champion, but my license just got suspended, once again. Can't afford the retake fees myself, so... think you could help a gal out?
- For a racer? Yikes.
- Miss Komu: Ugh, it's a long story. Blame it on my driving skills being a little too good.
- Miss Komu: I was just out cruising around in my baby when— Who knew that shuttle would be flying so low?
- Miss Komu: I got a little excited and thought, why not race it? Long story short, I won, but I may have gone just a teensy bit over the speed limit.
- So your ride is faster than a spaceship?
- Miss Komu: Not by much. See, with a civilian front-wheel drive car, you've gotta find that sweet spot on the clutch, get your left foot pressure just right at the bite point, or you'll lose traction and go flying off the line.

- Miss Komu: Heheh, the traffic cop said if I'd floored it just a little more, I would've launched right out of Astropolis.
- Miss Komu: But then again, speed limits are made for ordinary people. I'm not ordinary. I'm a racer! And isn't going fast kind of the whole point?
- Miss Komu: Too bad the folks over at the Traffic Security Bureau have zero appreciation for the finer things in life. They're always on my case, one minute it's "illegal modifications," the next it's "reckless driving."
- Miss Komu: Every time I finally pass my driving test, my license gets revoked before I can even break it in, and all my race winnings go straight into paying for retakes.
- Oh, I loathe fast drivers.
- Miss Komu: So you're not a sponsor? Welp, back to the drawing board for me.

- Miss Komu: Not much at all! Just enough to buy an engine. If that sounds like too much, the price of a single tire would do just fine.
