Mirror Princess also known as Miss Mirror, is a mentioned character in Honkai: Star Rail. She is an ally of Clockie in the Clockie animated series, based on Razalina.[1]
Profile
Mirror Princess is one of the several popular cartoon mascots of the Clockie animated series. In Clockie and Mirror Princess, she is written as a powerful, wise figure, with a melodious voice and a round silver mirror for a head. While ultimately unsuccessful in defeating it, she still managed to strike fear into the monster known as "Unknown," who neither Clockie or Captain Revolver were able to deal with.[1] In Misha's dreams, Mirror Princess is said to be gentle, and accompanies Misha on his sea-voyage.[2] As like the rest of Clockie Cartoons, Mirror Princess and her story is a stand in for a real person The Watchmaker knew,[3] in this case Razalina. Mirror Princess' handling of the Unknown resembles Razalina's use of Remembrance based technology, and Mirror Princess' ultimate fate[1] mimmicks that of Razalina.[4]
History
Mirror Princess was originally the princess of Mirror Kingdom, but when Clockie arrived she left to join him on The Compass. They traveled around for some time,[1] until one day a meteor crashed into Nightmareville, giving the townsfolk a chance to revolt againt Boss Stone. Their leader, Brother Hanu called upon The Compass to aid them in pushing back Boss Stone, eventually turning the town into Dreamville.[5]
One day, a mist from the Nightmare Desert rolled into the town, and within it a monster named the Unknown began devouring people. Clockie and Captain Revolver weren't capable of harming the monster, but Mirror Princess arrived, and was able to use her mirror to ward off the monster. It retreated, and while the creature plotted its counterattack the group pressed into the mist, guided by Mirror Princess' glow. Unfortunately, Mirror Princess stepped into a trap, getting her leg stuck and pulling her up. Mirror Princess smashed to the ground and her body was shattered. In her final moments, she told her friends to gather her pieces, and shine them on the monster, finally killing it.
Mirror Princess' glow still guards Dreamville from the Nightmare Desert's mist, and her pieces were reconstructed into a mirror within Dreamville's garden.[1]
