Dialogue

Mr. Joerjo: *sigh* Looking at these students, I'm so envious. They can all pour their inspiration onto the canvas, while I... I've sworn to never pick up a brush again...

Icon Dialogue Arrow An art school teacher who doesn't even paint?
Mr. Joerjo: I don't teach art, I'm a history teacher... Art history is also a crucial field of study, you know. Imagenesis has its roots, and cannot possibly be conjured from pure fiction. You need to understand the cultural context of the past.
Mr. Joerjo: I used to be an artist too, but then something happened that forced me to put down my brush. Wanna hear about it? It's kind of my own little "art history," haha!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Spill the beans!
Mr. Joerjo: You know Miss Sparxie, right? The greatest performance artist in Planarcadia. When I met her, I realized that all my artistic training since childhood was meant for this moment: to capture Miss Sparxie's charm as perfectly as possible!
Mr. Joerjo: Miss Sparxie's charm isn't about her looks, but about her unique, groundbreaking, gravity-defying adorable soul. That's why, to capture this complex allure with my brush, I've created a completely new artistic approach.
Mr. Joerjo: I call this expressive technique "Psycho-Portraiture." I've blended some deconstructionist double-dealing techniques with pure sensory supremacist geometry, plus some psychoanalytical depictions of Miss Sparxie's subconscious...
Mr. Joerjo: Finally, I created a series of masterpieces, Portraits of a Divine Girl, twenty-nine pieces in total! Though only a handful of people could tell I was drawing Sparxie... Well, being unappreciated is the fate of an artist.
Mr. Joerjo: Fortunately, this series caught Miss Sparxie's attention. On a cold, quiet night, while I was working on the thirtieth piece of Portraits of a Divine Girl, my computer screen suddenly lit up.
Mr. Joerjo: Then, out of nowhere, Miss Sparxie crawled right out of my computer screen! Before I could even process what was happening, she walked into my room, gently wrapped her hands around my throat, and whispered in my ear...
Mr. Joerjo: "Darling, if you keep drawing that crappy art of yours, I'm gonna have someone take you out~"
Mr. Joerjo: And that's how I swore off drawing forever and became an art history teacher instead.
Mr. Joerjo's voice begins to choke up. He lifts his chin up, trying hard not to let the tears fall. He seems to be completely lost in his memories now. Better not disturb him.
Icon Dialogue Exit I'll pass on going to class.
Mr. Joerjo: Don't worry about it. It's not exactly the kind of history worth sharing with everyone anyway.
Icon Dialogue Exit (Ignore him)
Mr. Joerjo: Hey there, don't just focus on honing your art skills. Your cultural studies are important too, you know!
