Snack Vendor: Welcome... Eh? You're the... new captain? Hi, captain!

You're selling my merchandise?

Snack Vendor: It's a tradition we've had since forever here. Other than snacks, our store also sells the captain's merchandise — these are selling like hot cakes.

How can you tell I'm the captain?

Snack Vendor: Oh, you're a humorous one! I sell the captain's merchandise, you know? How can I not recognize you?

Snack Vendor: Oh, captain! Just in time. Our supplier just delivered a new batch of goods, little knick-knacks designed after you.

Snack Vendor: Well, they're still in the pre-sale phase, but the customers are so excited about them that they've ordered one whole year's worth of merchandise. They really know how to surprise me, huh? Look, this is what they ordered—

Snack Vendor: That's right. The design is supposed to dramatize your humorous nature, while retaining the special innocence about you.

Snack Vendor: Huh? Really? I know the Alfalfa was in liaison with the Astral Express. We even waited for the Astral Express to green-light it before going into production.

Snack Vendor: ...Ah, maybe you've been so busy that you forgot all about it? Yeah, there was a ton of things in the handover, so that's likely the case...

Snack Vendor: We saved a set for you as a celebratory gift for your appointment as captain.

Snack Vendor: Also, just between us: I saved a large crate so you can purchase however many you like, all at an open price! But please don't tell anyone else about it! Our customers are already fighting to get their hands on this merchandise set. I wouldn't want to incur their wrath.

Snack Vendor: Is there anything else you need? I'm on duty here, so just call for me if you require anything!

Snack Vendor: Oh. We had a large bunch of temps in the past and employee turnover rate was high. Everyone who worked in this position was known as Snack Vendor to facilitate the handing over procedures.

Snack Vendor: It's just a term of address we use at work. Don't mind it too much.

What is the captain's merchandise?

Snack Vendor: They are goods themed around the presiding captain. Examples include 3D puzzles designed after the captain's appearance, captain's autographs, captain's half-body keychains, dolls, and other knick-knacks.

I'm the captain. Can't I get them for free?

Snack Vendor: ...Um, about that... Finance does an inventory check every day. Maybe you can check in with them?

Snack Vendor: I'm really sorry, but I don't hold much authority as a mere salesperson...

Snack Vendor: ...Eep, is captain looking at me? Does it look like I'm slacking off!?

Snack Vendor: ...Breathe in, and out... Calm down, I'm at work now. *smile* Ahem. Alright, I'm a professionally-trained and outstanding salesperson!

Snack Vendor: Why do some guests have such terribly unrealistic expectations of our store!? We're not a restaurant serving private cabins of the airship, nor do we have a chef to serve meals cooked-to-order! I can't believe they're actually complaining that our prices are high!

Snack Vendor: They find our merchandise overpriced and impractical... But hello? We're on an airship! Do they think shipping is free!? And when has practicality ever been a consideration when purchasing collectibles? Aren't they meant to be souvenirs!?

Snack Vendor: Plus, I'm just a lowly Snack Vendor! If complaining to me worked, would I still be working as a salesperson here!?

Snack Vendor: *sigh* These guests are either rich or filthy rich. Who would've expected them to turn into stingy misers when shopping! What a difficult bunch of customers...

Snack Vendor: The customers may be demanding, but I get to meet all kinds of bigwigs at work every day. Heh, I guess I'm lucky to be able to work here!

Snack Vendor: Actually, now that we have a new captain, are we going to rename the airship? Looks like Radiant Feldspar's going to be a thing of the past... What will the captain name it, though?

Snack Vendor: I heard they're also going to repaint the airship. Just my luck to be around when they have plans for such rare works.

Snack Vendor: Ah, you've got a long future ahead of you, and you look pretty young too. With impressive accomplishments at a young age and good looks to boot, I can't help but believe that you'll become someone legendary in the future, captain...
