The Hero Within is a mission-exclusive NPC on Amphoreus.
Profile
The Hero Within is a figure that appears in Phainon's mind and speaks to him at the end of every Eternal Recurrence, encouraging him to never forget the reason he set out on his journey.[2]
According to Lygus's notes, the Hero Within was created from the imaginations of Phainon and Cyrene, and is a sign of them approaching the Intelligence Singularity as they learn what it means to be a "real life form." The Hero Within bears a striking resemblance to the Trailblazer. However after the Astral Express arrived, "The Hero Within" began to converge with the Trailblazer.[1]
In actuality, it is the Trailblazer in the memory of "Cyrene." When the Demiurge looked back, it brought its memory of the "Deliverer" to NeiKos496 and PhiLia093.[1]
