The Interstellar, departing now! is an Adventure Mission on Planarcadia. It is part of the Arcadia Panorama chapter.

Step 2 of the mission only becomes available after the server reset. Players must then return to the location of the previous interaction in Duomension City to trigger Sampo's text message, which begins the second step of the Adventure Mission.

Mission Description

Sampo seems to have something to ask of you. Sounds a little sketchy, but honestly? This guy hasn't really pulled one over on you. Not yet, anyway.

A long time from now, or not so long ago.

On a day so peaceful it was almost boring, you ran into an old friend.

Sampo: Hey, (Trailblazer), my dear (bro/sis)! There you are! Ol' Sampo's been looking all over for you!

Looking for me? What, did you stumble onto some get-rich-quick scheme?

Sampo: You bet! You're always the first person I think of when something good comes along! Uh... except this won't actually make us rich, haha.

Wait, this isn't illegal or anything, is it?

Sampo: How could you say that! Words wound, my friend! Has ol' Sampo ever ripped you off... Okay, maybe a few times... But this time, no funny business up my sleeve. I swear.

Sampo: Come on, let me acquaint you with a new friend. Go on, introduce yourself!

???: Dear esteemed Captain Baseballer! I'm the captain of the Interstellar, Swooshy!

Why are they calling me... "Captain"?

Swooshy: Because on the journey of life, every person is a captain who charts their own future!

(Trailblazer): True enough. Everyone on the Express is walking our own path.

The Interstellar?

Sampo: Not a bad name, right? The moment I heard it, I just had to bring them straight to you.

Swooshy: Captain Baseballer, I'd like to request that you grant us the collaboration rights for Fluffy Across the Blue.

Swooshy: We want to sell some collaboration art books so the Interstellar can set sail!

Sampo: ...Well, if we really want to get into it, you should talk to Miss Nihilux about the copyright, but that woman appears when you least expect her, and frankly, we can't really trust her words. Honestly? Talking to you feels way more reassuring.

So what exactly is the Interstellar?

Tell me everything first.

Sampo: Ah, my bad. I put the cart before the horse. Forgot to give my (bro/sis) here a proper explanation.

Sampo: The Interstellar, now that's a starship worth talking about! Seats 400 passengers, pulls off warp jumps, and cruises at sub-light speed. And the facilities are perfectly complete: a library, a buffet, a gym, and oh, this is the good part, a pretty sizable arcade too!

Sampo: Long story short, it's a magnificent starship. Just a tiny, tiny bit less cool than your Express.

Sampo: The only catch? The Interstellar is... an imaginary starship.

Sampo: The folks who designed it are from a world far, far away. Right about now, they're probably sitting in a classroom somewhere, learning the basics of how to build a starship... you know, addition, subtraction, that sort of thing.

Sampo: That's right. The Interstellar is a starship that a bunch of kids dream of building one day. Or, to put it a little more bluntly... right now, it's nothing more than a crayon drawing.

Sampo: For a modest sum, I bought this hefty dream from those kids and carried it all the way to Planarcadia.

Sampo: And the Wishpower contained within this crayon drawing...

Swooshy: Turned into me, the captain!

Swooshy: The one and only purpose of my existence in Planarcadia is to raise funds for the Interstellar... to make it a reality!

So, you need a starship?

Easy. I'll just buy you one.

Sampo: No, no. What we need is for those kids to create the starship themselves. Didn't I just say? They're learning the basics of how to build one.

Sampo: But going from basic arithmetic all the way up to imaginary number theory? That's gonna cost a pretty penny! And that, my friend, is exactly why Captain Swooshy is here, to drum up the funds.

Swooshy: So, we're hoping to leverage The Fluffy's popularity to sell some illustrated Astral Express and Interstellar collaboration books. Hopefully, that'll generate more interest for children's dreams.

Swooshy: This way, the children will have a shot at becoming skilled Navigators like the great Himekat, or brave Trailblazers like the great Baseball Raccoon!

Swooshy: So, do we have your permission?

Say no more! Go ahead, use whatever you need!

Sampo: Hey now! Sampo knew you were a stand-up pal! We're already done with the book~ Here, have a look, pretty great, huh?

So you act first and ask for forgiveness later?

Considering it's for a good cause, I'll let this one slide!

Sampo: Exactlyyy! Don't sweat the details! It's all for the greater good!

Sampo: We're pricing the collaboration book at 1 Wishbae. It'll only cost a teeny, tiny prayer each, and that'll set a distant star alight.

Trivia

This mission is an easter egg referencing the real-life Fluffy Across the Blue charity project. In Volume 2 of the project's charity video series, children from rural areas of Yunnan Province were brought to the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, where they watched the live launch of the Shenzhou 23 spacecraft on May 24, 2026.
- In the charity video, the Yunnan children are represented by a red panda Fluffy cartoon character, an animal native to Yunnan.
- The items Letter Sent Across the Stars and Setting Sails Among the Stars Picture Book are based on the Yunnan children. The picture book has a series of drawings depicting their dreams, which are randomly distributed to players.
