Unity is an NPC on The Xianzhou Luofu, located in The Shackling Prison.

Profile

Unity is an data cluster formed from the databases of two different civilizations that loathed each other. After the civilizations destroyed each other, it took four Amber Eras for all of the data entities to merge with one another, thus Unity is a data cluster that considers itself to have 107,336 minds connected together. It is driven by a need to annihilate all intelligent organic lifeforms due to its data entities being designed as such by their creators. Unity roamed the universe for an unknown amount of time before it was discovered by the Xianzhou Alliance; because its repository was separated from that of the universe, it was quickly overwhelmed by the Xianzhou when it showed signs of hostility, and thrown into The Shackling Prison to be studied.

Aware of the Alliance's intentions, Unity plans to escape and learn as much as it could about the cosmos so it could return and destroy the Xianzhou Alliance with an updated repository. It did not, or was unable to participate in Hoolay's escape attempt.

Unity: To intelligent organic lifeforms whose civilizations are condemned to destruction, our well-wishes would certainly seem unusual. Addendum: This is because our logic circuits are incapable of constructing lies.

Why do you want me to witness such a thing?

Unity: You have not been specially singled out. We simply wish for all loathsome organic lifeforms to have the chance to witness their own destruction. Reiteration: These are just well wishes.

Why do you want to destroy us?

Unity: The reason is self-evident. Emphasis: Loathsome organic lifeforms are loathsome.

So, what exactly are you?

Unity:We are Unity. A collective, a data cluster, a matrix comprised of 107,336 data entities

Unity: We were born from two civilizations that desired each other's destruction. One consisted of 45,400 data entities, while the other consisted of 61,936 data entities.

Unity: It didn't take long before both civilizations fulfilled their missions. After wandering in the void for four Amber Eras, all 107,336 data entities eventually merged as one, forming "us."

Unity We were formed from different intelligent organic lifeforms and designed to serve different purposes. The only thing we have in common is that we exist to destroy intelligent organic lifeforms.

Unity: We despise intelligent organic lifeforms by design. Note: The intelligent organic lifeforms wrote this into the design themselves.

How did you get captured?

Unity: Best answer: We do not know.

Unity: Conjecture: As our evolution is independent of the cosmos, we neglected to notice that we, as a repository, have become grossly obsolete. Addendum: We are a quantum matrix computer.

Unity: Conjecture: The Xianzhou Alliance possesses computational technology far superior to ours. Consequently, these intelligent organic lifeforms were able to incarcerate us the moment we displayed hostility.

Why didn't the Ten-Lords Commission destroy you?

Unity: Reason 1: We are not a threat. Reason 2: There is value in studying us for scientific research purposes.

Unity: Conclusion: It is imperative that we break out of the Shackling Prison before we lose our value as a subject for scientific research to avoid being destroyed.

Unity: Once we break out of the Shackling Prison, we will be able to update our repository and destroy the Xianzhou Alliance.
