Yongxiang: We meet again, esteemed (Trailblazer)! You are looking as dashing and charismatic as ever!

Have we met before?

Yongxiang: Perhaps you may have forgotten, (sir/ma'am), but I remember like it was yesterday.

Was it something bad I did?

Yongxiang: You jest, esteemed friend! How can a noble hero like you do anything vile?

Yongxiang: It was the day of the riot, the entire prison was in complete chaos, and an entire group of prisoners attempted to use the commotion as cover for their escape.

Yongxiang: Just at that crucial moment, you bravely put your life on the line and sent a Sanctus Medicus disciple to your left flying with a mighty kick. Not a second later, you pulled a great baseball bat from your back and unleashed a mighty swing at the Borisin Wolftrooper in front of you!

Yongxiang continues to describe your valiant battle in The Shackling Prison. Included are a great many details that even you don't remember. You suspect he might be making some of this up.

Yongxiang: ...but unexpectedly, even more escapees rushed over at that moment! Yet, you stood resolute amidst the chaos, loudly proclaiming "Rules, are made to be broken!" Then, you brought your bat to bear, and halted the rushing mob like a dam bearing the weight of a wave...

Yongxiang: Ah! Whoops! Got carried away. Sorry. You must know these details better than I do. There was no need to waste your time with all my incessant chattering...

Yongxiang: I just wanted to tell you that... Your battle posture was incredible. Awesome. I will never forget how you looked for as long as I live.

Yongxiang: You flatter me. This is but my only strength.

Yongxiang: Of course not! My memory is like markings left by a blade upon stone. Not one detail is wrong.

Are you some kind of biological recorder?

Yongxiang: Haha! I participated in a talent show as a child. The crew of that show did give me the title of "biological recorder."

Yongxiang: When I said "I would never forget" as long as I live earlier... That wasn't meant as a compliment to you, but an objective statement about me. From the time I was born, I have never forgotten a single thing.

What does a secretary of the Shackling Prison do?

Yongxiang: Haha. Doesn't the title of "secretary" sound impressive? In actuality, I am the Shackling Prison's "penholder."

Yongxiang: Though you've seen the majesty of judges arresting people left and right, hitting culprits with the full force of the law as they please. In actual fact, they have to follow a strict set of administrative procedures behind the scenes. Even if there is an emergency, and they have to deliver some on-site "judgment," there are still processes that have to be retroactively filed. This is what I specialize in.

Yongxiang: Additionally, there are miscellaneous tasks like issue verdicts, official announcements, internal marketing... So long as it has to do with "writing" in the Shackling Prison, it falls under my jurisdiction of work.

Is work usually stressful?

Yongxiang: It's acceptable. Perhaps the role of a secretary isn't that important in itself, but someone has to do this work.

Yongxiang: Official documentation is an extremely important part of the alliance's legal system. The style and terminology are extremely particular, and sometimes just a small difference in wording can lead to a massive administrative accident. Anyone without formal training wouldn't be able to compose them.

Yongxiang: Though, being a secretary in the Shackling Prison also has its unique aspects. The workload might not be that intense, but the pressure for us pen-holders is pretty substantial.

Yongxiang: After all, these are black-hearted criminals we're holding here. The documents related to them are all filled with cruelty and atrocities beyond the fathoming of a normal person.

Yongxiang: And I am someone who doesn't forget. Each and every tragic case is carved into my mind's eye, there every single moment.

Why is your memory so good?

Yongxiang: I was born with it. After my parents discovered my talent, I become my family's breadwinner. I joined talent shows, participated in advertisements, made guest appearances on all kinds of immersias... I was once a pretty famous kid on the Luofu.

Yongxiang: But three hundred years went by, and I grew up. The audience got bored, and I wasn't that valuable anymore... *sigh* Then, I got estranged from my family. There's nothing for it. To them, I'm worthless.

Yongxiang: For a three hundred-year-old person with no skills beyond having a "good memory," no social connections on which they could rely, not even a home to return to...

Yongxiang: In a blink, the only place that would take me was the Ten-Lords Commission. They love people disconnected from society... Sorry, I seem to have gone off-topic, haha.

Yongxiang: But as you see, the Ten-Lords Commission isn't that scary. I'm afraid in all the cosmos, only they will accept a social outcast like me.
