A strange old man seems to have stopped Yixuan... Let's listen in on what they're talking about.
(Idle)
Sad Old Man: This place has been around for quite some time.
(Talk to Yixuan)
Sad Old Man: The tea here... its taste has changed...
Sad Old Man: I used to come here for tea before my daughter got married. But everything seems different ever since she moved to the Janus Quarter after her wedding.
Sad Old Man: Even the tea here tastes bitter now.
Yixuan: I see... but I just did a divination reading for you.
Yixuan: The trigrams reveal that your daughter might be coming to visit you with her child soon.
Yixuan: Well, are you feeling any better now?
Sad Old Man: C—Could it be true?!
Yixuan: Of course.
Yixuan: So, does the tea still taste bitter to you?
Sad Old Man: Not anymore... uh, hmm! Come to think of it, this tea tastes exactly as it always has!
Sad Old Man: So I won't file a complaint! They didn't cut any corners!
Sad Old Man: Hahaha, hahaha! How wonderful!
Sad Old Man: I need to hurry back and whip up something tasty for my daughter and granddaughter!
The old man leaves in high spirits.
Yixuan: As expected, it was a matter of the mind.
Icon Dialogue Talk Shifu...
Yixuan: Oh? You're here?
Yixuan: I just saw an old man saying the tea's taste had changed here, so I did a quick fortune reading and gave him some words of comfort.
Yixuan: So, what do you say? Would you like to try the tea here too?

Trust "A Cup of Pure Tea"

Story Description: You go to Yum Sha Sin with Yixuan and have a cup of tea brewed by her own hands... The tea has a unique flavor.

Yixuan: Since you're already here, why don't we have a cup of tea together? I'll brew some.
Icon Dialogue Talk Thank you, Shifu.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Thank you, (‍Shifu.Shifu. / Shifu!Shifu!‍)
Yixuan: It's just tea. No need to be so formal. You're my disciple, after all.
Icon Dialogue Talk I'll do it
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Uh... (‍shouldn'tshouldn't / shouldshould‍) I make it instead?
Yixuan: No need. I like treating my disciple to a cup of my own brew every now and again.
With a series of smooth, practiced movements, Yixuan quickly brews a pot of tea.
Who would've thought someone usually so averse to hassle would be so hands-on with this?
Yixuan: Here. Go ahead — have a taste.
Yixuan: Oh, and just so you know... I'm not very particular with tea. Sometimes I might leave a few leaves floating around. I hope you don't mind.
You glance down and see a few bits of tea leaves floating in your cup...
Icon Dialogue Talk Of course I don't!
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Of course I don't mind. It's tea you made — it's bound to be good.Of course I don't mind. It's tea you made — it's bound to be good. / Of course I don't mind! Yixuan: You have good taste. As expected of my disciple.
Yixuan: Since you like it, go ahead and finish the whole cup.
Yixuan: I had this batch roasted four times. Should help clear out that stagnant fatigue from staying up late.
Icon Dialogue Talk You knew I was coming?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Wait... Did you know I'd be stopping by?Wait... Did you know I'd be stopping by? / Hold on, you already knew I'd be stopping by?Hold on, you already knew I'd be stopping by?‍)
Yixuan: I did a quick divination this morning. It said I'd meet someone important today. I figured it might be you.

Yixuan: You've been staying at the temple. I notice things.
Yixuan: The tea is helpful, but don't overdo it.
Yixuan: It eases some of the effects of staying up, it might also make it harder for you to fall asleep tonight.
Yixuan: Balance is key. That applies here too.
Yixuan: It's the same for you at work. No matter how important things seem, your wellbeing should come first.
Yixuan: It's best to cut down on those late nights when you can.
Icon Dialogue Talk Thanks for caring, Shifu.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Thanks for the reminder, Shifu. I'll try to sleep earlier, exercise more... I'll drink more tea, too! Thanks for the reminder, Shifu. Yixuan: Good, as long as you follow through. As your master, I have a responsibility for your well-being.
Icon Dialogue Talk I wasn't really staying up — I just go to bed late.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Well... I wouldn't say I stayed up. I just have a later schedule than most people.Well... I wouldn't say I stayed up. Yixuan: Well then. You, yourself, know your body best.
Yixuan: It's just as your Shifu, I am responsible for your well-being to some degree.
Yixuan: Alright. The tea is nice, but we should have snacks to go with it too.
Yixuan: Feel free to order anything you like. My treat.
Yixuan: No need to rush. We still have plenty of time to spend together today.
