Back in Business

Back In Business is a Permanent "Returner" Event released in Version 1.2.

The Event will unlock for players who have not logged in to Zenless Zone Zero for at least 14 days. After triggering the event for the first time, it changes to 42 days of not beeing logged in for the second time and on onwards.

Players who are eligible for the event and have linked their account to their email, will receive an email stating that "The "Back in Business" event is now available!". Upon logging in to the game, the chosen protagonist's sibling will welcome them back in a small cutscene reminiscent of a video-call.

Event Details

• Return Conditions:
  • Completed the Chapter 1 commission "Earlybird Ticket to Safety."
  • Haven't logged in for 14 days or more.
  • If the event was already triggered, it changes to "haven't logged in for 42 days or more".
• "Back in Business" Event includes content such as "Reset Check-In", "Engagement Record", "Double Drops", "Co-Star Agent", "Brand New Signal Search", and "All-New Story".

Event Duration: From the day of activation until the 16th day since activation at 04:00 (server time).

• During the "Back in Business" event, complete the corresponding tasks to earn "Engagement Record Points" and rewards. Accumulate a certain amount of "Engagement Record Points" to unlock additional rewards.
• During the "Back in Business" event, Missions for tabs 2 – 5 will be unlocked on days 2 – 5 of the event. Tabs are unlocked at 04:00 daily (server time).

Double Drops

• During the "Back in Business" event, drops for all Enemy Cards in "Combat Simulation" are increased by 100%, for a total of 20 times.
• During the "Back in Business" event, the drop rate of all enemies in "Routine Cleanup" will be increased by 100%, for a total of 5 times.
• During the "Back in Business" event, the drop rate of all enemies in "Expert Challenge" will be increased by 100%, for a total of 3 times.

Co-Star Agent

• During the "Back in Business" event, Proxies can appoint one of the 6 S-Rank Agents from the Stable Channel as a "Limited-Time Co-Star Agent".
• The "Limited-Time Co-Star Agent" can be used for the duration of the "Back in Business" event. The trial period of the Limited-Time Co-Star Agent ends when the "Back in Business" event ends.
• During the event, Proxies can change their Limited-Time Co-Star Agent at any time during the event on the event page.
• Your Limited-Time Co-Star Agent can be used events in such as "Combat Simulation", "Routine Cleanup", "Expert Challenge", "Notorious Hunt", and "Hollow Zero". They cannot be used in "Shiyu Defense", special time-limited events, and some Main Story content.
• The Agent and skill level of the Limited-Time Co-Star Agent is set according to the player's Inter-Knot level.
• If Proxies don't choose their Limited-Time Co-Star Agent, the system will provide [Grace] as their default Limited-Time Co-Star Agent. Proxies can change this at any time.
