Beginning of the Journey

Beginning of the Journey is a City Commission at Blazewood, that can be started by talking to Appon. In order to unlock this commission, the player must have completed Code of Integrity, and then wait an in-game day.

Steps

Talk to Appon at Blazewood
Ask Corinna about the Sparkstones
Ask Ono about the truth behind the missing Sparkstones
Take a group photo of Appon and Ono as a memento of their reconciliation
Give the group photo to Appon and Ono

Pre-Commission Dialogue

(Idle): Appon: Have you seen anyone... carrying Sparkstones lately?; Dorian: Huh? But I thought you were the one who was going to act...

(Talk to Appon)

Dorian: So, Appon's got a rival? Or someone messing with him?
Maybe I, Cheesetopia's special consultant, can tap the Sons of Calydon for intel for you?

You're busy with your stuff again, Dorian.

Appon: No, I'm good! It's just the Sparkstones for Caesar are missing...

Dorian: Wait, your Sparkstones are missing?

Appon: Yeah, I had them with me yesterday, but they were nowhere to be found this morning...

Dorian: So... you'll have to hunt for those Sparkstones all over again?

Dorian: Then count me in! I'll lend a hand!

Appon's looking for Sparkstones, you say?; Corinna: But I saw his Bangboo pal sneaking off this morning, with three Sparkstones in his hands...; Corinna: Yeah, a scruffy Bangboo in a raggedy cloak...; Corinna: Hmm... I think it's... that same one eyeing us from the shadows?; Huh?; (Turn around.); ...As Corinna says, Ono is sneaking glances at us from the street corner.

Frustrated, Ono leads Appon and you to the stashed Sparkstones.

Appon: Ono...? Why would you stash my Sparkstones?

Appon: Sometimes I just can't figure you out, Ono... Sometimes, I really can't stand you!

Ono: Ehn-na? En-nah! (You... can't stand me...? No... No way!)

Ono: Ehn-na... Nhu-ne-nah! (I couldn't stand you first! Remember when you tried to pull out that cactus thorn and it got me? It stung!)

Appon: Nope, I couldn't stand you first!
We wouldn't have ended up in those cacti if you hadn't riled up those goons!

Ono: Ehn-na! En-nah-ehn! (Then I couldn't stand you ages ago! I wouldn't have kicked their kettle if you hadn't been hassled by those douchebags!)

Appon: I couldn't stand you from the get-go!
If you hadn't distracted me from the Ethereals when we first met, even though your battery was running low...

Ono: Ehn-na... Nhu-na-nhe-na... (I knew it... I knew it... you wanted to sell those Sparkstones just to ditch me...)

Ono: Ehn-na! Nhu-na! En-nah-ehn... (I'm done with you! Done!... Boo-hoo... I'm done with you, Appon...)

Ono: En-nah-ehn-ne, ehu-nu-nha, ena-nhu-nu-ne... (I'm mad you made me a doghouse cot... shared your ice cream when I can't even taste... and gave me a bumpy ride on your back...)

Ono: Ehn-na... nhu... en-nhu-nu... (I hate you... Boo-hoo... for taking me in, and now ditching me like this...)

Appon: Wait, what? But I... I didn't mean to ditch you...

After exhausting all the heartfelt words you could think of and making every effort to comfort the two "kids"...

You are "forced" to listen to a thousand adventure stories between Appon and Ono.
