Etymology
- The English localization struggles to adapt a very Chinese culture-specific term, Zhengdan. It is a subcategory of the Chinese opera female role, Dan, and it is used to portray middle-aged women. Most notably, the alternative name of this subcategory is 青衣 Qīngyī, "verdant clothes", which is Qingyi's name.
- The English title likely substituted Zhengdan with Qingyi to simplify the adaptation, and translated the Agent's name literally to make the connection with the opera role clearer. In fact, a Zhengdan is a female leading role, and 青衣 qīngyī can be translated as dressed in 青 qīng, a color that can be either green, blue or black.
