Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 While usually read as (Chinese: 般若 bōrě) when referring to prajna (Sanskrit: प्रज्ञा prajñā, "wisdom"), the song follows the pronunciation of how the two characters are read outside of this specific term. This is probably a play on words with Banyue (Chinese: 般岳 Bānyuè), as the first character is the same as the bān in Banyue, and the overall pronunciation is very close too.

Trivia

  • The whole song is in Chinese, but in the first half, every syllable is read in reverse as if it were a new language on its own, until the song reaches the second verse in which rest of the song reads as normal.[1]
    • This is referenced on the YouTube video's English captions, in which the subtitles were reversed before being flipped back.
