The Runaway Prince
We're all Bangboo, so why must we turn on our own kind? Hahaha, why ask such a foolish question? It is precisely because we are Bangboo that we can open the treasury gates. It is precisely because we are Bangboo that only one of us can wear the crown. This is how the kingdom continues, and how the kingdom operates. This is the established rule, and this is the only answer.
No, no. There cannot be only one rule in this world, nor only one answer. However, the greedy king refused to listen to a word of it. The Bangboo Prince sighed. It quietly fled the kingdom and concealed its appearance.

The Wandering Bangboo Prince
The Bangboo prince fled his homeland, believing he could finally live a life of freedom. Yet wherever he went, he was always met with the same sorrowful faces. "Alas, it's all because of that cruel king!" "Alas, it's all because of that dreadful kingdom!" A group of wanderers took the Bangboo prince in, and together they crossed the barren land. The Bangboo prince taught them how to identify gemstones, and at last they found a place to make home amid the wasteland. "This is a gemstone only the king could identify. How do you know its secret?" "Because I come from that kingdom too. I am the Bangboo prince who fled from it." The wanderers nodded silently and said nothing. Yet when the Bangboo prince awoke the next morning, his former traveling companions had already slipped away under cover of night.
Later, the Bangboo prince met many more traveling companions, all of whom marveled at his vast knowledge. Yet the moment they learned the truth, every encounter would come to an end. Until one day, the Bangboo met a scholar. The scholar quietly listened to the entire story, then said: "What they fled from was never the Bangboo prince. What they truly feared was the king whose blood runs in your veins, and you, who may one day become king yourself. Because this is how the kingdom endures. This is how the kingdom functions. This is the established rule. This is the only answer."
No, no! There isn't just one rule in this world, nor is there only one answer. I set out on this journey precisely because I wanted to change the fate that had already been decided! Then become one of us, the scholar said. We will defeat the Bangboo King and put an end to that cruel kingdom. And you, too, will surely be able to find another answer, a future where you no longer have to hide who you are.

Arguing Partners
The Bangboo Prince met two little birds One was white, and the other was purple The two of them were forever chirping and endlessly arguing You always argue, why are you still inseparable? Because we are companions, the purple bird said It's exactly because we're companions that we can bicker without a care, the white bird said What about you? Where is your companion? The little birds asked The Bangboo Prince shook his head Don't worry, we'll be your companions from now on, the white bird said That's right, companions who will defeat the Bangboo King together, the purple bird said If you knew I was a Bangboo too, would you still be my friends? The Bangboo Prince thought, but he didn't say it out loud Because the little birds' song was so warm

Decisive Hunter
The Bangboo Prince encountered a fox who was an excellent hunter Though, while hunting, he always breaks trees and branches along his way He wasn't like a fox, more like a bear, The Bangboo Prince thought Why not avoid those trees, asked the Bangboo Prince Why should I avoid them, asked the fox If you put too much effort in worrying over unrelated things, you won't be able to become a true hunter If you want to defeat the Bangboo King, you need such decisiveness Why are you always contemplating, my friend? The fox nudged the Bangboo Prince with his nose, confused If you knew I were a Bangboo too, would you also cut me down with decisiveness The Bangboo Prince thought to himself, but did not ask aloud Because the fox felt so warm

The Kingdom's Treasure
The Bangboo Prince finally found the treasure It was a sick star The star had forgotten where it came from And who knows how much time it had spent in the icy vault In the hands of the Bangboo Prince, the star lit up once more Yet even the prince could not heal it
I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Your tears will still fall My warmth will still fade

Yet the Lighthouse Will Eventually Go Dark
Yet the lighthouse will eventually go dark Like rusted armor, fallen feathers Yet the lighthouse will eventually go dark Like a slumbering hunter, broken antlers The evil king will return to its throne This world will be as cold as yesterday Yet the Bangboo Prince is nowhere to be found Yet the Bangboo Prince is nowhere to be found
