History
Baorong previously had a wife and two daughters, but they died in the fall of the old capital, and in the years that followed, he adopted five children: two boys and three girls.[2]
He first found Yuzuha washed ashore on Sailume Bay, after she escaped from the Porcelumex laboratory she was kept in. Baorong took the girl in and gave her the surname "Ukinami" (meaning "floating on the waves") rather than his own surname, as he thought "Li Yuzuha" would sound too strange.[3] When he later adopted Yuzuha's younger sisters, he named them Kaede and Sumire to continue the tradition of plant-themed names.[4]
The custom ringtone for the Mystic Wares phone number is a recording of Baorong's "deep, booming voice." According to Yuzuha, this ringtone is effective at fending off telemarketers.[5]
