Overtime-Enjoyer is an event-exclusive NPC who first appeared in the "En-Nah" Chess Saga Event. They were tricked in to an abusive contract to play Chess Legend, but were rescued through the efforts of Phaethon and Yunkui Summit.

History
Overtime-Enjoyer was fired from their original job, so it hoped to use its gaming expertise to find a job it actually liked. However it was approached by a suspicious individual who tricked it in to an abusive contract. It was forced to play Chess Legend under a relentless schedule, recieving outside communication to help it win and become an undefeated champion. Though it didn't want to participate, Overtime-Enjoyer was under threat, and so had to keep playing despite the exhaustion it felt.
This eventually caught the attention of Bolion and Ye Shunguang, who quickly discerned that the Bangboo was under duress. After getting assistance through Phaethon, who won all the available Chess Legend challenges, the trio were eventually able to force the suspicious individual to reveal themselves, and in the critical moment, Overtime-Enjoyer promised to testify against him. After the criminal was delivered to Public Security, they concluded that, given Overtime-Enjoyer was a coerced party, it would not be given undue punishment, and was only assigned some community service work. The Bangboo also recieved attention from the staff of Chess Legend, who were willing to offer a job to the Bangboo after discussing the matter with Shunguang, finally giving it a chance to start a brand new life, following its dreams.
