The Tidefaire Supporter
Story Description: You finally meet Mo Ping's father, Mr. Mo, the \"Number One Fan\" of the Tidefaire. But surprisingly, Mr. Mo seems quite opposed to the idea of holding another Tidefaire at Suibian Temple...
- Mo Ping: Yixuan Shifu, this is my father. I brought him here as soon as he got back to Waifei Peninsula.
- Mo Ping: I dare say that there's no one in Waifei who knows more about the Tidefaire than my dad! If you've got any questions, ask away!
- Old Mo: Hm...
- Yixuan: I look forward to hearing your insights, Mr. Mo. I wanted to ask about the sigil on this skyletter...
- Old Mo: Ah, you must be Yixuan Shifu, right? Sorry, you're asking the wrong person here. I don't know anything about skyletters and whatnot. I just heard that after eleven years Suibian Temple had mystics again and figured I'd come have a look.
- Yixuan: Is that so... Tell me, what are your initial impressions?
- Old Mo: It's not the same... not the same at all.
- Mo Ping: Not the same? What are you talking about?
- Old Mo: The Tidefaire... it's just a distant memory to me now. I'm old and don't remember what happened eleven years ago. You should ask someone else.
- Mo Ping: Wait, what's going on, Dad? That's not what you said at home. You used to go on about the Tidefaire all the time...
- Old Mo: Did I? I don't remember that.
- Mo Ping: What do you mean?! We even have the skyletter my brother left behind...
- Old Mo: I said I don't remember!
- Yixuan: No need to be upset, sir. Whether you remember or not, it's all part of Suibian Temple's fate. We won't force it.
- Old Mo: Well, I've seen all that I needed to... Let's go home.
- Mo Ping: C'mon, Dad... Sorry, I didn't know he was gonna be like this. Maybe he's just in a bad mood today. Let me take him home for now. I'll contact you again if I find anything useful!
: Looks like the skyletter sigil lead isn't going too well.- (ProtagonistProtagonist): Looks like the skyletter sigil lead isn't working out so well.
- Yixuan: That's fine. We could always head back to Yunkui Summit and go through the older books. I'm sure we'll find something.
: Oh, about what Old Mo said...- (ProtagonistProtagonist): Oh, about what Old Mo said... what did he mean by "not the same"?
- Yixuan: He's probably comparing me to the previous owner of the temple.
- Yixuan: I never met her myself, but I've always been curious about the founder of Suibian Temple and the Tidefaire. I'll tell you more about her some other time.
- Yixuan: As for that gentleman, he came to judge for himself whether Suibian Temple is worthy of continuing the Tidefaire. All we can do now is try our best and wait for fate to bring him around again.
: Don't worry.- (ProtagonistProtagonist): Don't worry, we're all doing our best here.
- Yixuan: And I couldn't ask for more than that. Let us treat this challenge as part of our training as well.
- Yixuan: Not just yours, but mine, too.
- (Idle)
- Ju Fufu: Hm...
- Twentie: Enn... (Hmm...)
- (Talk to Ju Fufu)
- Ju Fufu: That works too!
- Twentie: Enn-nhe-ne! (That's an idea!)
'Sup?- Ju Fufu: As the renovation project at Suibian Temple keeps growing, we're starting to feel a bit short-handed...
- Ju Fufu: There's still so much to do, but I can't keep bothering you and Belobog Heavy Industries with everything, so I'm planning to find more helpers!
Helper? You mean Twentie?- Twentie: En-ne! Enn! Nhe! Ehn-ne-ne! (It's me! No, wait! Not me! It's BooBox!)
- Ju Fufu: There's a place called "BooBox" where you can recruit Bangboo as helpers. If it's not rocket science work, we can just let them handle it!
- Twentie: En-ne! Ehn-neh! Ehn-neh? (BooBox! Great! Wanna check it out?)
Where's BooBox?- Twentie: Nhe-ne! Ehn-ne-en-nhe! (Let's check it out! Follow me!)
Twentie leads the way but soon vanishes... Better follow in the direction it takes off.
- (Talk to Ju Fufu, optional)
- Ju Fufu: Let's check out BooBox. It'd be great if we could find some help there.
- (Idle)
- Twentie: Enn-neh! (Over here!)
- (Talk to Twentie)
- Twentie: Ehn-en-ne-ehn-nhe-ehn-en-ne-nhe! Ehnn-nhe! (You can recruit lots of awesome Bangboo helpers here! Give it a try!)
- (Open BooBox interface)
- Twentie: Different Bangboo assistants will appear in the BooBox.
- Twentie: Click on a Bangboo Assistant to view its details.
- Twentie: And spend Cloud Crests to hire them!
- (After exiting the BooBox interface)
- "Bangboo, Ready to Work!" Achievement Complete
- (Idle)
- Ju Fufu: Aww~ So cute~
- (Talk to Ju Fufu)
- Ju Fufu: It feels so good to be surrounded by Bangboo! Hey Junior, wanna come over here and experience it yourself?
I've got some Bangboo at home too.- Ju Fufu: Really? Do you also have so many adorable little Bangboo running around at your place?
That's right!
Mine's even cuter!- Ju Fufu: Wow... I gotta check out your place next time! Oh right, down to business. Belion's looking for you.
- Ju Fufu: It says it picked up some helpful tips for running Suibian Temple from customers while doing errands at Yum Cha Sin.
Tips?- Ju Fufu: Yeah, it's all kinda vague, talking about trends and likes... Anyway, just chat with it and you'll see what's up!
- (Open Suibian Temple interface)
- Ju Fufu: You can now cater to guests' preferences through Trends.
- Ju Fufu: Let's check out the shop!
- Ju Fufu: You can see current and future trends here.
- Ju Fufu: You can check out the detailed trend analysis here!
- Ju Fufu: Boost your profits by stocking up on trending hot sellers!
- (Idle)
- Ju Fufu: Hmm! Not bad!
- (Talk to Ju Fufu)
- Ju Fufu: Hmm! Not bad!
What is this...?- Ju Fufu: So, what do you think? The signboard was custom-made just for us. Doesn't "Suibian Temple" look totally epic in those bold characters!
That's totally badass!
...The font is pretty cute.- Ju Fufu: Not just here. There are signboards installed in several spots around the temple.
- Ju Fufu: Thanks to the construction workers from Belobog Heavy Industries. Climbing up and down the ladders, they did everything from positioning to hanging the signboards with great precision.
The construction workers are working so hard.
Belobog Heavy Industries has always been very responsible.- Ju Fufu: It's so hot out. Let's grab some herbal tea to cool everyone down.
- Ju Fufu: Including us... 15 cups is more than enough!
I'll go. Where can I get them?- Ju Fufu: It's at Peace Herbal. No need to carry the herbal tea, just let the shopkeeper know and they'll have someone deliver it.
- Ju Fufu: The shopkeeper is a Bangboo, pretty easy to spot! None of the residents know who its master is, but everyone just calls it the shopkeeper.
- Ju Fufu: Oh wait, there are quite a few bear Thirens on the construction team, aren't there... One cup might not be enough... Let's make it 20! Come back to me and I'll reimburse you!
- (Idle)
- Shellboo: Enn? (Huh?)
- (Talk to Shellboo)
- Shellboo: Enn? Ehn... neh... (Hm? What's... up?)
- (ProtagonistProtagonist): (This place looks like a pharmacy... I wonder if they actually sell herbal tea here...)
Excuse me, do you have herbal tea here?- Shellboo: Enn-neh... (We do...)
Suibian Temple wants to order 20 cups of herbal tea.- Shellboo: Ehn-ne... (But...)
But what?
20 cups too many?- Shellboo: Enn... en-neh... (I... can't move...)
What's wrong? Are you having technical issues?
Don't tell me the battery's low...- Shellboo: Enn... Ehhn-nhe... enn-ne... (I... can't move... The cat's got me pinned down...)
Oh, yeah... It happens.
I kinda get it!- Shellboo: Ehn-ne-en-neh, ne-ne, en-nhe, ehn-nuh... (This pet shop cat seems to love the smell of herbs, and now it won't leave me alone, rubbing against me...)
- Shellboo: Enn-neh-en-ne-nhe, en-ne-nhe-ne. (Could you help me carry it to the "Fluffy" pet shop?)
Sure, I got it.
Of course! I love cuddling with cats!- Shellboo: Enn, ehn-ne-ehn-ne-nhe, enn-ne, ne-nhe-enn-ne. (Alright, now I can get to work. I'll deliver the herbal tea to Suibian Temple right away.)
- (ProtagonistProtagonist): (The herbal tea situation is sorted out. This little cat seems quite obedient. Let's take it to the "Fluffy" pet store.)
"Cool Your Flames With Herbal Tea!" Achievement Complete
- (Talk to Cairn)
- Cairn: Ah, Tubby! Where did you run off to!
Is this kitten called Tubby?- Cairn: Yeah, don't let its lanky look fool you. It was such a chonker when it was little, rounder than a ball!
- Cairn: It usually shows up around mealtime, but for some reason it hasn't come back today. I was just about to look for it.
It ran to Peace Herbal.- Cairn: Oh yeah? Peace Herbal... Tubby's different from the other sweeties in the shop. She's always loved wandering the streets since she was little.
- Cairn: But why Peace Herbal of all places... I really can't think of anything there that would attract it...
Must be the scent of medicinal herbs.
It loves to rub against the Bangboo there.- Cairn: Huh? Are there really cats in this world who like the smell of medicinal herbs...? I've never met one before...
- Cairn: Let's take Tubby to Peace Herbal next time. Gotta see it with our own eyes to find out what's going on.
- Cairn: Thanks for bringing it back this time~ If it had come back any later, other cats would've eaten all its food~
No problem. I love animals.- Cairn: Oh! Feel free to drop by more often in the future. All the little darlings in the shop love meeting new people!
(After Suibian Temple reaches Lv. 20)
- (ProtagonistProtagonist): (There are so many plants in Suibian Temple, and even trees this tall... they must have been transplanted here as whole trees.)
- (ProtagonistProtagonist): (What's most intriguing is that wooden training dummy. Is it for physical training, or for practicing mystical arts... I bet we'll see lots of mystics there in the future.)
