The Night of the Power Outage is a Hearsay Commission in (Hollow) Porcelume Processing Base, and a side mission for the Buyan Antique Store.

Steps

  1. Talk to the workers
  2. Restart the first power switch
  3. Restart the second power switch
  4. Investigate the corrupted Miasma traces
  5. Reply to the confused worker and claim your reward

Confused Worker: Hey there, fellow worker! Are you the new hire reporting to this workshop?
Confused Worker: Bad luck — the workshop's power system keeps shorting out and crashing for no reason lately. Can't get any work done today, even though we just had all the equipment checked...
Confused Worker: The factory keeps having these random blackouts. It's like the place is straight-up haunted.
Confused Worker: Hey, if you've got time right now, could you help restart the circuit breakers around here? Look — just like that one over there.

Confused Worker: There are some old files, recording equipment, and other junk scattered around the factory. If you're finding the work too boring, you could clean those up too.
Confused Worker: Head in that direction and you'll find the rest of the power switches — there are three generators that need to be restored, with three corresponding switches to activate.

Confused Worker: Oh, almost forgot something important! New recruits need to head to the equipment warehouse to pick up supplies and new gear—we didn't have these perks when I first started, so you're joining at just the right time.
Confused Worker: I've got the warehouse key on me, come along.
(Interacting with the Mechanically Locked Door automatically completes the commission, opening the Mini Cargo Trucks is optional)
