Steps
- Meet Piper in front of Gravity Cinema
Dialogue
- (Idle)
- Piper: What a perfect spot for a nap...
- (Talk to Piper)
- Piper: Hey, you're here.
You're early.
Have you been waiting long?- Piper: I've been moseying around nearby... trying to find a good spot to take a nap.
Find anything?
No luck?- Piper: Sure did.
- Piper: I struck up a chat with the Bangboo charging in the parking lot, and they told me the best place to nap around here is...
- Piper: This cinema.
...
If you're that sleepy, Piper...- Piper: Come on, don't give me that look... Even if I doze off, at least I won't bug you while you're watching the movie, right?
- Piper: Okay, so what movie do you want to watch?
That sci-fi one with the tough guy and the pretty girl on the poster.
- Trust increase with Piper Wheel
- Piper: That poster... I thought I was staring down the barrel of a gun for a second, but upon closer inspection, it was just a bird's eye view of a skyscraper...
- Piper: Looks pretty sweet. That's that one, then.
- You grab the tickets and settle in to watch the movie with Piper...
- Piper was quiet as a mouse during the movie... Did she actually nod off?
- Piper: *yawn*~
- Piper: Huh? Why are you staring at me like that? I'm still awake, okay?
- Piper: I was a bit drowsy at the start... but I really perked up when the hero and bad guys were chasing each other in that skyscraper.
- Piper: Plus that dude with the white hair, when he jumped from rooftop to rooftop, he even grabbed a pigeon!
Hmm... Is that a metaphor for something?
Huh? What's that pigeon all about?- Piper: Isn't it because you can cushion the impact of falling if you're holding a pigeon?
- Piper: I thought that dude was pretty smart...
That comedy claiming to be adapted from a classic.
- Trust increase with Piper Wheel
- Piper: Oh? That's such a long name for a movie... Is it an adaptation of that famous book? I remember reading a bit when I was a kid, but I never finished the whole thing.
- Piper: Great. I can find out what happens at the end. That's the one, then.
- You grab the tickets and watch the movie together with Piper...
- Piper's laughter like some kind of small animal... As expected, comedies keep her wide awake!
- Piper: So is that how things finished in the book, too? Not really how I expected things to go...
- Piper: How come those two became cousins? How come that hermit became a woman? Why did that monk have to go on all those blind dates? And most importantly...
- Piper: That guy with big lips — the book never described him as looking like that...
It's not exactly the same as the original...
Maybe that's just some kind of coincidence...- Piper: I see... It was a pretty good adaptation. There're so many characters in the original. I guess you'd forget who everyone was unless you made them all different.
- Piper: Whenever I see sausage in the future, I'm gonna think of that guy.
The animated film with the super cute main character.
- Significant Trust increase with Piper Wheel
- Piper: *tut* You kids sure love that kind of movie, don't you...
- Piper: Fine, if that's what you like, I'll come with you~
- You grab the tickets watch the movie together with Piper...
- During the movie, you hear soft gasps coming from beside you... Perhaps it's best not to turn and look?
- Piper: Is that what passes for an anime movie these days...
- Piper: I knew it — none of that would ever happen in real life.
- Piper: That girl worked so hard, but she's clearly just a little kid...
- Piper: But in the end did she even get paid?
What's important is that she saved her parents.
What's important is that she saved her friend.- Piper: Sure... She worked hard just to save her parents and her friends.
- Piper: What a lucky kid.
- Piper: I thought all kids' movies were like that, but this one turned out to be pretty good...
- Piper: Next time there's another fun movie on, give me a call and we can catch it together.
- Trust increase with Piper Wheel
- (Idle)
- Piper: City folks sure do like watching their movies...
- (Talk to Piper again, optional)
- Piper: People in the Outer Ring aren't as keen on movies as you city folks.
- Piper: How does that saying go...? —Stories have to make sense; real life doesn't.
- Piper: While reality sometimes makes absolutely zero sense, it's way more exciting than a sensible story could ever be.
- Piper: But it's probably better if you young'uns don't understand that just yet.
I'm not a kid anymore.
- Piper: Nothing wrong with being a kid~
Do you understand it yourself, Piper?
- Piper: Of course I do. At my age, I've driven more miles than you've walked~
