Baladhuri

Baladhuri is a quest-exclusive NPC and the current Vahumana Sage of the Sumeru Akademiya.^[2]

Profile

Baladhuri is a kind and gentle scholar. He took office as Vahumana's Sage before Azar fell from power and oversees students such as Khaldun.^[2] He, along with Naphis, opposed the secret collaboration between the Akademiya and the Fatui, for which both were imprisoned by the other four sages; they were freed after the conspiracy was defeated.^[3]

He has a seven-year-old daughter with his wife and is deeply devoted to his family.^[1][4]

During Archon Quest Song of the Welkin Moon: Act IX - As All Falls to Emptiness, he helps everyone during the crisis with his historical knowledge.

Appearance

Baladhuri is a tall man with pale skin, amber eyes, and gray hair parted down the middle. He sports a thick mustache and a full beard styled into intricate curls. Both his beard and the lock of hair on the center of his forehead look like they were carved from stone. His outfit consists of an amber sherwani styled with dark red accents and green gemstones.

Baladhuri takes great pride in his beard and is always pleased when others compliment it.^[4]
