Dodoco

Dodocos are fictional creatures associated with Alice of the Hexenzirkel. Alice's daughter Klee carries a Dodoco doll made by Alice with her at all times,^[1] while all Hexenzirkel members have Dodoco dolls modeled after them which they use to communicate when not in-person.^[2] Dodoco also acts as Klee's imaginary friend, and has an appropriate form to match.

Appearance

Dodocos are white, furry, round, and legless creatures with rabbit-like ears and beady eyes. They have fluffy teardrop-shaped tails, which may or may not fade into a different color at the tail's tip (for example, Klee's Dodoco doll has a dark brown tip, Alice's Dodoco representation has a red tip, and Nicole's Dodoco representation has a blue tip). Klee's Dodoco doll is attached to a chain which hangs from the side of Klee's backpack.

Overview

According to Dodoco lore, the name Dodoco means "best friend."^[1][3] The peace-loving and playful Dodocos of the Dodo Clan have long lived on the Golden Apple Archipelago.^[3] When a Dodoco is born it "rides the wind and goes off on a big adventure."^[4] Residents of "Dodoland," which may refer to the Dodo Clan, eat roasted apples with jam.^[5]

Kaboomball Kombat

The event Kaboomball Kombat also features items named with "Dodo." Players faced off against Dodofortresses and used Dodoguards to reflect Kaboomballs.

Dodofortresses share features with Dodoco, as noted by Paimon,^[6] but like the Heartbreak Balloon, they have narrowed eyes and a red band around the middle with a zigzagging pattern. Dodofortresses are also shown in the namecard Celebration: Kaboomball, which mentions a faraway kingdom called the Grand Alliance where the people could throw Kaboomballs. It is unclear if this is also related to the story of the Dodo Clan and the Golden Apple Archipelago.
